Sometimes making a park out of something you deem not to look as good as something else, enables you to work it out to make it look better than the people that have previously worked with it, Posix. I know its a very hard and vague point I'm trying to make here, but i honestly think you could work out rct2 (really, the no custom scenery trend is ridiculous, its fine, but if there was one awesome custom object that you'd love to have why wouldn't you add that?) and come up with some very calm atmospheres that few have even grasped at this moment (ie, Rivers of Babylon, Gotheburg, IOE, Outpost :P)
You know you want to ;), Phil.
This batch of screens looks pretty nice, really. The foliage is very nicely done in that last screen. -

okay, right, i'll give rct2 a 5th chance.
i want to make a design. have a few nice ideas for it already. i'll need some help though concerning workbench making, standard rct2 hacks and other things, heh. let's throw another multi aim later maybe? -

Eh, you know it looks good. I like the looks of the layout, the colours still don't grab me. -

Wait, i thought this was X250's park? Anyway, screen looks okay but a bit boring. I dislike the gray, and the plants and logs at the top. I also dont know where the water for the water fall is coming from.

Do you need to know? Unless this is an incredibly realistic park, I don't see any need to have a source for the water source. Just pretend it's coming from a pump or something, or ignore it.I also dont know where the water for the water fall is coming from.

Looks nice...
The structure of the building is ok, but there's something about the colors I don't like...there's too much grey, and that makes the building look a little bit boring. If I were you, I'd change the rooves...I don't know, you could put another color rooves...it would look better IMO. Or you could also do the same with the floor...it's your choice.
Anyway, that's my only complaint...the foliage is good, it creates a pleasant atmosphere. Keep going. -

God every one always has a thing as to where the water has to be coming from.
Well as for the building. It just seems kinda random that brown bit so dont look right and quite a few portcullis thrown in there, and is there a specific theme on this areas because that space bita scenery annoys me lol. -

Well it's kind of that little rule of physics called "you can't create something from nothing."Edited by geewhzz, 31 October 2006 - 09:32 PM.

Yeah, but physics don't really apply in RCT2. Except with rides and a few other things, but still. Who cares if there's a water source or not. Use your friggin' imagination. Unless, of course, you are trying to be really realistic. Otherwise, get over it. -

I agree with geewhzz here, matter may change form, but cannot be created or destroyed. So I guess you could say the water is being condensed from water vapor in the air?
EDIT:
Im not trying to bust balls here, honestly, its your park, do what you want with itEdited by ride_exchanger, 31 October 2006 - 09:46 PM.

Have any of you ever seen those faucets that hang suspended by a glass tube? And when you turn on the water, it hides the glass so it looks like the faucet is floating?
Think about that before you say the water must come from somewhere...
