What is all this 'style' crap? The only stylistic difference between the two parks is one is more brown, and has more water! Otherwise, they're nearly identical stylistically! They're both "let's do lots of pointless wierd things, and cram lots of useless stuff in!" It's all just clutter! Hideous! -

Gym I dont like the style I mean honestly it looks like the whole park is one nig building to me. I liked the ideas in the Germans park and found it more pleasing to look at. IMO the Germans park was better because I enjoyed it more thus I voted for them. You saying I shouldn't have voted for them because you said so makes you look like a dick. I didn't go and say everyone should go vote for Cajamarca 1532 because in my mind it took more skill to make then Ghost Cell Crisis no I let the votes go were they may. God forbid someone have a different look at RCT then you. -

That's more technique than style. Technique = method, which is what you defined. Style = what's received. What is all this 'style' crap? They're both "let's do lots of pointless wierd things, and cram lots of useless stuff in!" It's all just clutter! Hideous!
And before you say "that's what I got out of it," I must say that you merely recognized a technique. Not a style. -

I'm sorry, I should have made them seperate paragraphs, as they are seperate thoughts. To me the parks are both stylistically similar (colorful, fantastical, lots of height, lots of clutter), and share similar techniques (pile on useless crap, weird rides). -

Jeez. Sounds like you guys have all been smoking some bitter weeds. Talk about focusing on the negative. I understand there's a certain 'competitive spirit' involved here, but it's alright to be a little bit polite too. People have made a lot of good points about both parks that I can see where they are coming from. But the way some of you are going about it seems a little overtly hostile. This stuff takes a long time to do! I'm sure you can find something to praise in there along with all your biting criticisms. (Note: Before you get defensive, that's not directed at everybody who has responded).
I've got a lot to say about these parks but I just wrote my essay for the day in that other topic so I'll save this one for tomorrow. There's a lot of skill evident in both of these parks. Neither one blew me away like the Hurricanes park did, but I really appreciate the amount of effort and skill that went into making these. They're both very impressive pieces of work. It's probably so hard to decide between these because they're so similar in style. -

and cram lots of useless stuff in!
Yeah, I'm not really into this crammed "style" (If I may say that). I prefer each building/ride to have breathing space, so that you dont have to delete things to see feature and such. -

Clubbers are only down 4 with my vote.
First I'd like to congratulate both sides on such fantastic parks. I liked the Germans' park. It had some very nice ideas here and there. I thought that the parking garages, however, were useless, and gimicky. They totally stood out, and didn't add anything to the park. They were pointless hacks, and the idea didn't fit in at all. Some of the architecture was alright, most of it pretty decent. A couple buildings really lacked. I also didn't like how the "hotel" had about 5 rooms. And the mine train was unfinished, to top it all off. A lot of things, like the aqueducts, have been done so many times now, they're really kind of a turn off for me in the park's quality. Also, the coaster, WTF? It was underground too damn much! I couldn't follow it, and it was unreasonably unrealistic. Anywho, still a great park.
Clubbers: I knew who made this park, or at least had done part of it, the moment I opened it up. The architecture was great, some of the best 1/4 tile usage I've seen in a while. I do wish there were more trees here and there, instead of most of the landscape being rocky and bare. Also, the coaster was sort of a mess. I didn't like so much CBass black background, raise the land and put trees there! Still, some of the architecture and interactions were fantastic, and that's probably why I ended up voting for the Clubbers. I wish the liquid coaster had a more varied layout, instead of doing esentially the same thing 3 times in a row. Also, my computer was slowing because of so many rides. Anyways, back to the positives. Great job. Required more skill and more time than the Germans' park.
On a different note, both parks felt sort of heartless. Sort of like it was all done for looks. Maybe because the rides were lacking in both parks, the rides couldn't carry anything for the park. I don't know. I'm just giving my opinion.
Once again, great job, both teams.Edited by postit, 14 April 2005 - 09:12 PM.

The IIICons impressed me more than both of these teams throughout the season, so i'm not surprised that these parks are less than overwhelming. I guess the Clubbers get my vote, but i'd much rather have seen another God's Isle or Ghost Cell Crisis... -

I think we had something pretty spectacular planned as well, haha, though i don't think we would have made it this fast.... not sure anyhow. I thought Outpost Prehistorica was by far a better park than God's Isle though, i don't care if it lost. -

Both parks were very nice. Of course, they both had flaws. The Germans' architecture was decent, but as some said, it lacked detail. Well, some of the buildings did at least. They were boring. It was still decent though. I was disappointed that the mine coaster wasn't finished, but oh well. Not the most original idea in my opinion, but overall, the park was nice.
The Clubbers' park was nice too. The architecture was very well done. I also enjoyed the rides. The rapids were great and water coaster were ok. It could have used a little more work. Anyways, the way the rides interacted with their surroundings was something I liked. I wasn't to fond of the flow of the park. With the colors and all. But I guess I should have expected that...
Anyways, the cool rides and interesting archy won it for me. My vote goes to the Clubbers.
Nice job to all. -

This H2H season has turned into the bitch fest from hell. We've had people saying that a vote shouldn't count because the voter didn't post their reasoning, people bitching that people shouldn't choose according to their own preferences, and people totalling votes to make sure nobody is cheating.
Wow. Just wow. I'm really tempted to vote for the Germans just because they bitch less.... -

Everyone bitched in H2H2! And almost no one played, remember? Almost every park felt like it was made in the span of 2 hours, and that's when they actually bothered to make one! Ick.
Anywho, why can't we bitch? The whole point of this topic is bitching! It's to say who we voted for, and why, and try to convince others of our point of view, and yell at them REALLY LOUDLY when we fail. Duh. -

cg?, my remark was meant to be ironic, but I don't think yours was. Hilarious though. -

Well, it's as ironic as anything I post, which is about 50% or so... and, also, of course, 50% totally serious...
