Well Junya, maybe you could pop round while you're over here lol. My friend's been told he might get to go to MIT on a placement in his second summer holiday.

Cambridge's a nice place, and there's loads of internationals all over the place lol.

Well done everyone on getting into these places. Uni/college is a hell of a lot of fun.

MIT has an amazing campus, wish you the best there Junya!

I'm still a sophmore, but I'm aiming for NYU and Berkley. Still looking around though...

MIT's campus is truely amazing, indeed. When i went to visit, i fell in love with it. I got back on Sunday, but that was after i purposely missed my flight so i can stay a little longer... I love it.

And Mantis, going to Cambridge seems like it would be pure fun. Maybe i could pop by somewhere if i get to come... are any of the good theme/amusement parks around that part of England (preferable amusement parks)?

If you hit the m25 (ring road around london) I'm guessing Thorpe Park is no more than 2 hours from Cambridge, and Alton Towers is probably about 3-4 hours up north. They're the best parks in England but themed, I'm not too hot on the amusement parks around there, you could check out parks close to Thorpe @ imdb though.

My advice to anyone applying to these places would be firstly don't be affected by where your friends go and secondly go where you'll have a good time - because then you'll work harder because you're happy and get a better result out of it.

And go as far away from home as possible :D (and don't ever come back  )
