I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place, but whatever.
What are the best or better Haunted/Horror/Gothic themed rides or parks out there? Out of your opinion. I've looked through some of the QFTB entries that were from the haunted themed, but they didn't really appeal to me, mostly due to incompleteness in some of them.
Thanks in advance for any help with this. -

Check out Phantasia by Meretrix , i remember there being an excellant haunted area in there. Also i think Universal Hawaii by JKay had a haunted theme ride of some sort. Also, check out Grave Runner by Richie.
They are just three that come to mind, probably loads more...

Mount Sinister
Sure it's not completely dark but I still could stare at it for hours. I have one that you might like too... I'll have to release it sometime over here.

I never thought of that park as real dark. But after looking at it in that light(for and hour) I can see the darkness... -

I'm working on a park that will also benefit from replies to this topic. So, keep them coming.
Here's what I can think of from the Rct2.com front. If that isn't below the quality you're looking for.
Rct2.com 2003 October Contest Winners
These are a bit old, and aren't as good by today's standards, but you might find them useful. The Dracula download is lost though. I also have a link to my entry for that contest in there, but I guess it wasn't that great.
Lethal Hills by Michael
I judged this one for VP, and though I didn't find it worthy, you might find it interesting. One of it's main flaws is that while it uses the haunted mansion scenery well, it uses too much of it. Overall, I found that the park lacked diversity.
Coming back to NE, here's another one:
Haunted Wasteland by yeshli2nuts
Circus of Lost Souls by X250
This was released yesterday. I haven't looked at it yet, but it was an mini-park entry for the Rct Olympics. And it's by X250, so it's probably pretty good. There was also a LL park with a similar (same?) name released here some time back that I really liked. That was back when LL still worked for me. EDIT: trancidEdge got it down below, it was Carnival of Lost Souls.
Let's see, there's also Buster's old FFF (Fields of Forgotten Fears, I think). I was never a fan of his work though, but everyone else has always liked it.
Funny, I also came across one of your parks when searching. Anyways, that's about all the decent parks I can think of, except for some other old LL parks that I've forgotten the names of. Gates of Hell or something. I probably still have a few of them, though I can't open them.
EDIT: I just noticed X250 released his park here as well, so I changed the link and moved it. I also added Lethal Hills. -

Carnival of Lost Souls, hevydevy's PT entry, was pretty good. But it's LL, in case you want to know. -

Okay, thanks for the suggestions. I'll take a look at them...even though I've seen Mount Sinister and a few other random ones...
I appreciate it. -

Personally I didn't like Mt. Sin the first few times I looked at it but now it's my favorite park. You just have to really examine it for the magic to come out.

Yeah, that's true. The same thing happened with me and Posix' Raindrop Rivera...I love that park now. -

I actually found that with alot of Mala's parks - and then I looked deeper into them and loved the detail and secret parts I found in them.Personally I didn't like Mt. Sin the first few times I looked at it but now it's my favorite park. You just have to really examine it for the magic to come out.

If I remember correctly, there were some damn cool dark areas in Cinescape and Cinescape East
Cinescape had some crazy Beetlejuice themed area, along with a Terminator themed zone right next doo
Cinescape East had an area based on The Matrix, and a badass Alien-themed land. I think it may have had a Wes Craven area too, which was funny because it was right next to the park's kiddie area. -

Does anyone remember TerrorTech from the Pro Tour? He had a water coaster that was amazing.
