I finished third. I had to pit in half way through - my tyres were never going to make it - and lost the lead that I had when the 2nd place car pitted in cos I fucked up my out lap big time. Then one car didn't pit in and won... it's the professional last tournament, the fairlady is the best car I have atm and I don't think it;s quite good enough.

And yes there was some "contact" involved on that first corner I overtook the car in 1st legit though, the fairlady's quicker through the long corners on tokyo.

Oh right. Do the Mercedes Championship. There are two, so I can't remember which one it is, you will get the CLK Touring Car for one and the CLK GTR Race car for the other. You want the CLK GTR Race Car.

Cheers guys for the prize info. I was going to have to 24hour ring it, to get the polyphony, but I would really prefer to not have that car until right at the end - I got it at 10% in gt3 and it kind of ruined the game cos every race was far too easy then.

race with the hp range in the event your attending, it makes it alot more fun, having an underpowered car in alot of the professional events is where ive had alot of fun.

Well what I try to do is enter the event with just anything, to see what other cars are running, then pick one that I've got and race with that. It's so true this game gets incredibly tedious if you use an overpowered car though, that's why I love the missions and even the special license (which I've got 6g, 4 s, rest bronze in). I've spent more time on them than the rest of the game I think!

Here are some from the "Deutsche Touring Car Meisterschaft" on the Nurburgring. I won this by 0.7secs with one of the AMG Merc RC '92s.

This is a shot from the crest of a hill of the top 3 cars, looking back to me wrestling with the other AMG and the finishing line and stands in the far background.

Slightly experimental... wanted the wheel at the centre with the other car following, I titled it so the tree would be in line with vertical, probably way too much though.

I used the exact same car for that. The Alpha caused me most problems, but man that Alpha's backfire is like a flamethrower.
