Just a little announcement about my first set of objects. These are based off the jungle theming in RCT2. You can find the download here. Sorry guys, you do have to be a member to download this.

Well, I see a lot of views but no comments.

Anyone have any comments, or do you even care?

why the fuck are you saying anything?, can you make scenery?

the scenery is quality, keep it up and make some quater tile objects with this and your golden.

just had a quick look at the objects and didn't really try out much.

the rooves seem to be prety good (didn't test if you can put them together correctly). But you should really make 1/4 tile rooves. look at toons rooves and you will see we just need 3 1/4 tile objects to create all the rooves you made.

the walls are good aswell, except of the second one in the 4th row. the upper half doesn't seem to fit the other half of the object.

the door and windows aren't that good at all. ok they are well made, but the windows do not fit the jungle theme and the door doesn't seem to fit in aswell.

all in all the objects show you are able to make objects, but i wouldn't say they are really useful. can't imagine build a park/design with those objects.

anyways. keep up making objects.

yyo, what do you mean by sloppy? I just want to make sure that I understand you before I give an explanation of what I did with the last three roofs.

Magnus, I understand that not everyone would use these to make a park from. But not everyone in the community creates parks in the NE style. Some might use these just to theme a particular ride as opposed to an area within the park.
The door and windows come from RCT Fun, with their permission. All I was doing here was just trying to add an option for people to use if they want.
I'll probably make some 1/4 tile roofs for this set. I just didn't want to fight with it at that time.
Now, I have to ask, should I also make a colorable set for those?

Let's see, I've been a member here for almost a year longer than you. I'm only a noob because I don't post a lot, not because I'm new to the community. But then, I look at the source youngster.

It doesn't look like the green fences connect to the bottom of the roofs (in the last three)

They don't, on purpose. Those three roofs are true large objects. 2x1, 2x2 and 2x2 in size. The reason the walls don't go to the bottoms of the rooftops is that the parts of the roofs that don't have walls 'under' them is that they are overhangs. The overhangs don't even go out a full half tile from the wall.
So, basically what I did was create roofs with overhangs, or eaves if you will, that allow someone to place one object to create a certain effect with the structure.

Hey, this is nice! I can use this for my jungle park.. The walls are cool, I don't like the wall with the door very much, but it's okay..

Marino, thanks for the kudos. And I have no problem with anyone not liking anything I've done. It's all a matter of taste.

Jo24, thanks to you also for the kudos. I don't know that the scenery is great as you say, but I think that it's decent and certainly better than some of the crap I've seen available at some of the other sites around the community.

As for me being professional, I'm not here to cause problems, just to have some fun with other fans of the game. I'll stand up for myself when I need to. I'll not let some young kid think that post counts determine any level of skill with the game.

Since real life and work have been in the way for quite some time, I haven't had a chance to even come close to working on the 1/4 tile roofs. I will make a colorable and non-colorable set for them. I'm hoping that work will slow down enough for me to be able to get to work on these soon.
