In related news, my grandfather is a part of the Morisette, and tonight the World Series trophy made its way to they're little hangout. I got pictures and everything. I was hoping there would be a player there or something, but no, that would just make me too happy and I guess the good lord didn't want that.

Damn son.
I got pictures of that trophy when it came to my school like months ago.

I didn't get a picture with it though. One of my friends "has connections" and he got everyone to go back there and take a big group picture after I left. I was pissed.

But the important thing is that I did get pictures of said trophy. And I saw it with my own two damn eyes. God it was a thing of beauty. I probably teared up like the big baby I am.

It finally made it to beautiful Gosnold (more commonly known as Cuttyhunk Island) last week. And so it has gone to all 351 cities, towns, and municipalities in the great state of Massachusetts. A happy moment, indeed. I could have probably looked out from the harbor here towards Cuttyhunk and saw it gleam, from 13 miles across the water.

See. The thing is, when I went. There was about 25 or so little old ladies that I had to beat with a stick just to get a good shot of it. It was annoying as hell. Some little brat got in the picture behind the trophy as I was taking, too. Stupid fuckwit.

oh yeah, i forgot about this - when the trophy came to my school like waaaay back, wally was there. he's the man.

You ever notice how Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy have an unhealthy obsession with their little beanbag Wally friend? Like, every game, around the 7th or 8th, it's like they get bored with calling the game and go on about Wally. And they make up these elaborate sideplots with Wally that go on throughout the year. I find it very amusing/disturbing.
