Please. the guy looked like he was trying to restrain the guy next to him from reaching for the ball. he barely grazed Sheffield, at any rate. "I thought I got punched in the mouth." Bitch please. Sheff just had a bad case of 'roid rage.Whats with Boston fans and their temper? Its like they cant control it......what a shame.

'Stros got swept by the METS. Crap.
And about the Boston fans. Those kind of people are at all stadiums. You just don't see it.
I mean they do serve alcohol at all baseball stadiums. What do you expect? -

Yea, but do they actually go punching each other.....nope, only Boston fans would do that....And about the Boston fans. Those kind of people are at all stadiums. You just don't see it.

this conversation has gone downhill really fast. you can argue this all you want, "only boston fans this only boston fans that" brings the conversation down to a third grade level. the truth is there are people who get rowdy at every game. it just so happened that on that night the drunk guy was sitting in the right seat. w/e its not a big deal. and you know what, im a boston fan, and im gonna side on sheffield this one. so it has nothing to do with being a boston fan, its just personality. -

Came back from the Yankees @ Orioles game last night.....Honestly i think Yankee fans are the worst. One, they are incredibly obnoxious, and two because they took up about 1/3 of the entire crowd. But it was all fun in the end because the O's beat 'em 7-6 . -

Damn, Angels lost to Oakland today, marking their first lost series of the year.
Meanwhile, the surprising Dodgers have rolled out of the gate and started 9-2. They've won their last five games and look really good right now.
But before I get my hopes too high, I remember that they've traditionally finished badly. Hopefully, they'll keep this up, though. So far so good, but two years ago is still fresh in my mind, even though they did win the division last year.
Ah well. -

Anyway, the Mets seem to have righted the ship, but the Yankees are sputtering along at 4-8 and in last place in the AL East.
Sure, we have 150 more games, but I'm gonna laugh right now while it's fresh, funny, and factual.
I'll go back to hating the Yanks when they make their inevitably later season push and wind up winning 103 games again.... but I hope they don't.
Baseball's Toughest Division:
Anaheim Angels 6-6 .500
Seattle 6-6 .500
Oakland 6-6 .500
Texas 6-7 .462
And it'll prolly stay that way all year. GO ANGELS!! -

I notice you cleverly placed Oakland in the 3 spot even though the A's have the best division record right now and the tiebreaker over the Angels. How'd you like your first taste of Harden in 05? I shouldn't say too much though the way our offense has been playing. Here's hoping Marco (the great) is still around in a month when Crosby comes back. -

Actually, I just copied and pasted from ESPN and replaced "Los Angeles" with "Anaheim."
