A few new shots are up....a new overview and some close ups of Thunderhawk, and Psionic Blast.

I was messing around with my video card settings the other day, and forgot to set them back, so that is why the resolution on the images is not super fab.

Looks fantastic. I don't like the coaster colours, though.

I like it all, every thing is nice and the water fall is great.
    Thunderhawk is amazing
I do agree with turtle about the colors however.
    Great Job!

    Greetings and Salutations

There are new photos in the archive. Go HERE for screens.

Major update. This park has been RE-STARTED. The old park was becoming too much of a demolition site with all the things I wanted to put in with soaked.......so I shrunk the park, to 130 x 130, and took out a bunch of useless crap. The new pics are very rough shots of the front entrance....still resembling the original, and still keeping a Tussaud's feel.

Comments, Criticism, et. al are welcome.

The structure it self looks great.
    The waterfalls look spectacular....

You were far into the park, but i definitely understand your reasoning behind restarting

Did you take the gallery down, because I can't find it?
  • Meretrix%s's Photo
For some reason Webshots deleted it.

I've taken care of it, and it should be back up.

Very Good. I love the Medieval feel. Keep it up!

Some new shit is up in the archive....it's mostly atmospheric stuff.....but I felt like showing how beautiful waterfalls look at night....comment dammit!!!!!

Otherwise.....I won't show anymore screens of this park.........

    SCREENS

I like it, and then I don't. The castle just looks too overpowering, or maybe it's all the castle texture. Too me it just looks like one big castle wall with lots of towers. If that's what you where going for that's fine but remove some towers, there's way too many. I also find the symmetry boring.

I really like the entrance. The tunnel and the construction above it are really well done. The foliage overall is dull, but I'm assuming you're not done with it. Don't stop showing screens. There's hardly any worthwhile RCT3 parks on this forum.

I'm not quite sure why a waterfall is coming out of a castle, but as far as looks go, it's quite nice. The idea of waterfalls coming out of the castle actually is a great idea for an engrossing entrance.

Quite nice. I'm very happy with this thus far. Could use some better folliage as Fenix said, but there's time to do that later.

I really do hope the wooden coaster you built stays in this version, however, because I was really quite impressed with that as well.

    Shit is right. Blech.

No seriously, you've thoroughly convinced me that you know how to build an entrance gate and a parking lot. If I needed someone to build one of those for me, I would turn to you first. I guess I'm just getting greedy here, but I would hop out of my seat for more pictures of coasters flanked by atmospheric waterfalls and mysterious castles high up on mountain peaks. I don't have any complaints here, but I'm a little disappointed nonetheless. I'm of the thinking that parking lots and entrance gates are nice, if I see those in a park, it looks a little more complete--but do you really need to take screenshots of it?

(As an aside, I've loved the other work you've done in this park so don't take that the wrong way. I complain because I care. And as a member of this generation, cynicism is the only way I know to show affection. ;)X )

Ed, my boy...as soon as I get something more than an entrance gate, and a parking lot built....I'll show it to ya.

I beg you, for the love of god, use some decent hosting.
Fuck, those are some nice waterfalls, I always find them a pain in the ass to place, you seem to have it down well.

How do you like the landscaping feature? I find it is impossible to landscape and then build on it, like in RCT1 and 2, this I think hurts the game.

As soon as I get my server hooked up, I'll be hosting my own shots.

As for the landscaping feature.....I love it. I use that damn shift key now more to place walls and scenery INTO the land....which I find very cool.

Thanks for the waterfalls comment. I am still getting used to the whole placing of waterfalls thing.....practice makes....erm.....well.....practice makes.
  • JBruckner%s's Photo
Yeah, but, what do you think of doing paths on the land and such?
We should chat about it on AIM, or something.
  • Meretrix%s's Photo
OK, since Ed seems to be unable to maintain a park-on ;) for anything other than rides......I have put up some shots of The Red Raven flying coaster in the archive.......note to all.....the ride is NOT themed AT ALL, nor is the landscaping finished. But the layout is done and it's quite a tight little ride......a little family oriented (much like AIR), but fun none the less.

    ENJOY

And Ed...please make sure to wipe up after yer done....M'Kay?

Everything in RCT3 is so dark! Thats why I never play, really.
Why can't you take good shots like you did with Thunderhawk, Trixy? :(

It looks alright, but I'm sure it's awesome in game; I just don't think the screen angles are for me. Still, nice job. Keep the RCT3 boat floating, man.
