Not necesarily. Dillon is a BIG step up from Kevin Faulk. The steelers will have a harder time containing him, a much harder time.Shut down dillan, and the game belongs to the steelers.

It's humorous how many "we's" there are when referring to the Patriots. There was only one "we" a few weeks/months ago and that was Jellybones. I smell bandwagoners.
Go Steelers. -

But the thing is, the Eagles haven't made it past the championship in at least three years. Why is this year any different?I'm at a bit of a loss as to why everyone around here seems to think the Falcons have anything on the Eagles, even if Philly is missing T.O. Every time Atlanta has a tough matchup---and even sometimes when they seemingly don't---they crumble. Vick falters. Michael's a great player, probably the most athletic in the game, but a quarterback is more than that, and I think Donovan McNabb has everything on him. Philly will trounce the Falcons by two or three touchdowns I think. And the Steelers don't stand a chance, especially if they play the way they did against the Jets.

girls jump on the Patriots bandwagon all the time. It's humorous how many "we's" there are when referring to the Patriots. There was only one "we" a few weeks/months ago and that was Jellybones. I smell bandwagoners.
Go Steelers.
However, 95% of all straight males in New England are rabid football fans like myself so it's usually all good. -

I don't know if you were referring to me, but I mentioned "we". I'm not a bandwagon jumper, its just I despise the Steelers (being a Ravens and Bills fan...), so its more or less my duty to go against the Steelers. It's humorous how many "we's" there are when referring to the Patriots. Yea i was thinkinh the same thing. They dont have many new changes to the roster, and TO's gone anyway. Whats more, 2 of the lsts 3 NFC championchip losses have been AT the Eagles. But the thing is, the Eagles haven't made it past the championship in at least three years. Why is this year any different?

Also the last 2 losses have been to NFC South teams. The Bucs, and Panthers...
The Eagles will run their typical gameplan, blitz like hell all day. If Vick escapes one tackler then hes free to go 20+ yards down the field. Crumpler will be tearing up the middle whenever Trotter blitzes (almost every play). The Falcons defense will shut down the run, and leave it up to McNabb and his wide receivers.
As for the Pats game I think its gonna be one hell of a game. Everyone thinks Big Ben looked like a rookie last week, but remember he played his worst game of the year in the regular season against the Jets. Correy Dillon, or Kevin Faulk, it doesn't matter to the Steeler's run defense they will shut him down. The Pats inexperience in the secondary is going to hurt them when they face Plexico, Ward, and Randel El.
My predictions:
Falcons 38 Eagles 17
Steelers 17 Pats 13 -

yeah sure corey dillon is different, but the same can be said for duce and jerome. There almost the same back. I dont know about you, but i dont want to be hit by those guys all day, as come fourth quarter, im gonna be tired as hell...
As for the defense, sorry but corey dillon is not god. We raped the pats when they had one back out. Sure maybe it will be a closer game, but i still say the steelers are gonna take it. -

big ben will adjust, therefore he will return to his normal qb-self. if he keeps throwing interceptions we wouldnt have a problem throwing tony maddox in their. although, just shut down dillan and faulk, guard fauria and branch. oh yeah. palumalu owns.
also.
the bus > dillan -

I've loved the Pats for almost 2 1/2 years.
And...I was raving about the Patriots a few weeks/months ago...just not here. -

Yeah the whole stadium did at the end of the Colts game, during that last drive when Peyton was getting for a desperation TD just to soothe his ego. when I heard 60,000 people chanting "Cut that meat!" coming out of my TV set I nearly fell over laughing. You guys really chant "Cut that meat! Cut that meat!"
That's fucking hilarious. -

This is a good quote from that article Jellybones posted:
And these two quotes sum up the whole thing, sums up Colts fans, and sums up anyone who picked against the Patriots:In the second half, they finally played 30 perfect minutes of football, highlighted by a defensive shutout and two mammoth drives. They didn't just beat the Colts, they decimated them. Best of all, Manning was shaking his head and blaming everyone else, like he always does when things go wrong. Marino did the same thing. And he never won a Super Bowl either.
This was about four letters ("team") meaning more than five letters ("stats").
This was about Manning stomping off the field like a tyke, the paper champion going down in flames.

It also said "This was about a great team taking care of business at home, because that's what great teams do." You've gotta wonder what the score wouldve been if they were playing in Indi. And these two quotes sum up the whole thing, sums up Colts fans, and sums up anyone who picked against the Patriots:

I'm pretty sure the Patriots won because of something more than home-field.
