Lets look at this from a logical standpoint shall we..
The steelers have been playing with a good majority of their starters out due to injuries. They have a rookie quaterback, and they have not lost since he took the reigns. Most would say that would catch up to them. Here is the kicker though, with the first round bye, the steelers have many of their starters getting healthy. That means a complete team. Staley, Hampton, they're all coming back.
Steelers win AFC.
Im sorry, but Philly is one of the most overated teams in football. The mere fact that anytime Owens doesnt play they lose should show you that. Not to mention the NFC sucks anyway.
Falcons take NFC.
Steelers win superbowl. -

The Jets suck, that's what. They caught us on a bad day, in conditions most Chargers had never seen, and still needed luck and overtime to win by a field goal. -

My playoff predictions have been COMPLETELY screwed over...
Heres what they were:
Wild Card rounds : AFC
San Diego Chargers def. New York Jets
Indianapolis Colts def. Broncos
NFC
Green Bay Packers def. Minnesota Vikings
Seattle Seahawks def. St. Louis Rams
Then Divisional: AFC
Indianapolis Colts def. New England Patriots
San Diego Chargers def. Pittsburgh Steelers
NFC:
Atlanta Falcons def. Minnesota Vikings
Philadelphia Eagles def. Seattle Seahawks
Conference Championships: AFC
San Diego Chargers def. Indianapolis Colts
NFC:
Atlanta Falcons def. Philadelphia Eagles
Super Bowl:
San Diego Chargers def. Atlanta Falcons
And man, a really bad start on playoff predictions... -

Philly will choke to Pittsburg in the superbowl.
and if the Rams make it there, no matter how much I love them, they don't deserve to win. -

Eagles/Patriots
because it would be morally reprehensible for me not to pick the Patriots, and because the NFC is a joke and the Eagles are the only respectable team of the bunch. the Falcons are way inconsistent, the Rams are the second-worst playoff team ever, and the Vikings got lucky. I thought the Packers would have had a shot at knocking off the Eagles but then Favre got confused and thought he was playing for the Vikings and completely blew it. then again i got 3 out of the 4 wild card games wrong so don't listen to anything i say, ever. -

^I find it funny that you didn't mention the Steelers once in that whole explanation. True, the Patriots usually find a way to win, but you have to face the music; the Steelers are un-stoppable, even with their rookie QB. -

Very good? Yes... Unstoppable? Certainly not. They're secondary is thin, and no matter how well Benny Burger has been playing, the playoffs are a whole nother matter.^I find it funny that you didn't mention the Steelers once in that whole explanation. Colts vs. Falcons.
The biggest chokers in the sport in the last 10 years, Philly and Pittsburgh, do it again. -

sorry, but the steelers are where they are for a reason. 15-1 for the first time ever is not a joke. They beat philly and new england, with a team of backups... -

That's the thing about the Steelers, it's NOT a team full of backups when you can beat anybody in the league with them. Those "backups" deserve as much credit as the starters for the time being, even Maddox.... They did what "backups" are supposed to do, keep the team winning when the starters are out. They may not be starters, but I think that calling them "backups" takes a little bit away from them. They are quality players... we've all seen that, lol. -

Same thing, man.philly and the eagles
I'm thinking probably Steelers vs. Falcons or Colts vs. Falcons. AFC winning in either case. -

Thats the point i was trying to make..people dont give enough credit to what the steelers are..That's the thing about the Steelers, it's NOT a team full of backups when you can beat anybody in the league with them. ya im a cheesehead and a chargers fan so you can see why i wanted them in the superbowl.damn kaeding. well im still think that the eagles are going even if they dont have TO. Micheal Vicks gunna be shut out by dawkins and kearse is gunna be causing trouble in the backfield all day. The steelers beat the patriots once is bound to happen again or it might be a packer minnesota thing.I can't believe the fucking Packers lost. That's rediculous, I hate the fucking Vikings.

Everything is a combination of talent and luck... Obviously the Steelers are a very good team, but they were 15-1 for reasons in addition to that talent. They benefitted from one of the easiest schedules in the NFL this year, meaning they got to play last year's last place teams and got to play just about every single difficult game they had this year at home.sorry, but the steelers are where they are for a reason. 15-1 for the first time ever is not a joke. They beat philly and new england, with a team of backups...
They can be beaten.
As I said, they're secondary is VERY weak (aside from Polamalu who is a beast against the run, but even and improving against the pass). They've been able to mask that this year with their incredible pass rush (much like the Eagles have masked one of the worst run defenses in the NFL with their offense). Against a team like the Colts, I feel they're secondary is going to get exposed because they will actually have to come up big... NOBODY has been getting to Peyton Manning all year. If they get behind, then Indy's incredible speed rush will be able to just pin its ears back and attack... and I bet you that Benny will begin to look like a rookie. -
