Use those rock walls and make it look more themed than just a floating pool that generates the falls......but of course you hopefully already have this in mind(and No, I am not asking you to make a tunnel, but on the other side of the track( the side not facing the waterfall and around the waterfall, use rock work......and make the waterfall be coming from a "rock" overhang......or something like that...........

I meant that I found that there were too many rapids, like before the falls.
The point of it is that you can literally sail behind the waterfalls and see the backside of the falls ("named for the famous Dr. Albert Falls"). Instead of just having waterfalls and then having the boats sail through a tunnel in the land, I actually have them sailing behind the falls, withing nothing but air separating the boats from the backside of the falls. So if RCT had some sort of 3-D mode and you were on the boats, you could pass by the front and see the falls, then sail around the back and see the other side of the waterfalls.Looks good. I dislike the Schweizer Falls, quite some water for those little falls, but it could aslo have to do with the fact that it isn't fully themed.
I'm looking forward seeing how you are going to do the Notre Dame. -

I like the water falls, they will look great once fully themed. It would be interesting to see these two parks go head to head for the spotlight. -

Yes, especially when one is finished ages before the other... or they actually do go up against each other only to find the other win the following spotlight, it really wont matter if they are submitted at the same time.I like the water falls, they will look great once fully themed. It would be interesting to see these two parks go head to head for the spotlight.

This update, as hinted by the last report, will not contain any photographs, as Disney has imposed a lockdown on information regarding Walt Disney Escape.
Work on the Caribbean Isle has progressed a long ways in the past couple of days. The facade of the waterfront is practically completed and is looking extremely gorgeous. More work has been done on the entrance area of Pirates of the Caribbean, as a FASTPASS ticket booth has been set up, and a few more buildings have been erected. Landscaping has really spruced up this part of the Continental Pavilion, adding a bright, exotic flair to the land. Benches, litter bins, and lanterns have also been placed. Furthermore, work has begun on Peter Pan's Flight, a dark ride that takes riders on their own flying boats through the timeless story of Peter Pan.
Over in the Dark Continent, work has been ongoing on Schweitzer Falls. Some of the vegetation has been trimmed away to clear up the clutter around the falls, and the piping system has been revamped to eliminate the excess liquid chaos of the rapids that build before the actual cascade.
When completed, Walt Disney Escape will join Warner Brothers Movie World, Madrid and Universal Port Aventura as the third major theme park in Spain. Featuring the best in traditional Disney ideas and the newest technological advances, Walt Disney Escape will provide a strong form of competition and strengthen Disney's business venture into Europe.
Please check back periodically for new updates on this exciting resort. -

The first pic looks good...second is great, or will be once the surroundings are finished...but the waterfalls, i think there should be less rapids on top and some down below the falls. Because right now it looks like the its flowing upwards and causing rapids at the top instead...or somethin like that. -

There has been much work done on Fantasyland lately, with many attractions begun and a few shops and restaurants completed!
Work has commenced on the four dark rides to be featured in this themed land. On the west side of Fantasyland, Snow White's Scary Adventures and Pinocchio's Journeys will be featured. On the east side of Fantasyland, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and, as rumored, Robin Hood's Merry Escapades will be located. The Robin Hood attraction will be an interactive one, allowing guests to participate by shooting at various targets and helping Robin Hood thwart his nemeses, King John and the Sheriff of Nottingham.
Furthermore, Storybook Theater, an attraction that will air the classic fully-animated Disney movies daily, has been completed. Work is ongoing for Dumbo the Flying Elephant and is nearly complete, with theming and landscaping remaining.
In the non-attractions division, the Village Haus restaurant and Storybook Gift Shop have been constructed. The Village Haus will feature outdoor and indoor dining areas located at the corner of the crossroads in Fantasyland and can be found next to Pinocchio's Journeys.
Finally, a quaint, little fountain area, Fantasia Fountains, has been finished and landscaped just north of King Arthur's Carousel. This mini-attraction will feature small watershows daily to the melodies of Disney music. Though not a scheduled show, it should still entertain passerbys.
No pictures have been released for this update, though Disney has hinted that that they may release some photographs on the next report.

Listening to you update this thing makes me want to build a Disney park of my own. This is by far the best RCT2 park I have seen so far. I usually dont like posting in topics that are all ready swamped with loads of spam and replies (I am an isolationist.... but not to any extreme....), but I thought I'd just say that. I would have to agree with you not posting to many pics. You definitly dont want to give too much away. -

This update is very brief. Disney Imagineers have revealed that the castle chosen for this park is, indeed, the rumored castle from Beauty and the Beast, the hit fully-animated motion picture that premeired a decade ago.
Also, more work has been done on Fantasyland, mostly landscaping.

Please let the Disney people know that if I don't see a new picture or two (even every few updates), I'm going to be quite put out. This may lead to such catastrophes as 1) me crying, 2) me pitching a fit, 3) me coming out there and smacking you guys around, or 4) me stealing the cryogenically frozen head of Walt, going bowling, and sending you pictures of that. How's that for an update
To translate, I'd love to see a new picture once in awhile I'm inspired by them, as I think this is one of the finest and most accurate (style-wise) parks I've seen since this game became an artform. Just a thought...

Beauty and the Beast? Yikes. That castle was all glum and depressing, you are doing it in its post-Belle form, correct?
Also, far too many people are being inspired to create Disney parks now. Pretty soon we are going to have an influx of Disney resorts, many of which will be of poor quality, and would make poor old Walt (God rest his soul) turn over in his grave even more rapidly than he already is with morons like Pressler and Rasulo in charge. Be inspired if you want, but it better be a faithful, well done Disney park.
Few people can pull off a Disney park and make it have the right atmosphere, the right ambience for a Disney park, and then comes the rides to add to the already challenging task. Fortunately Corkscrewed is one of those people who can get it done, and from the looks of things so far, he is doing a damn good job. Well done Corky, and I wish you luck on the rest of your endeavor. -

Thank you very much for those kind comments, QOTSA-2002. That is exactly the type of response I'm looking to get.
And the castle will be the "post-Belle" look, as you say. That is, the happy, storybook, elegant, bright castle we saw at the end of the movie. -

Bad corkscrewed, now I have to come up with a new premise for my castle. Its a shame too, Beauty and the Beast is the only Disney movie without a castle in a park that I can think of. -
