Wow, this is just beautiful.
I love how you're exposing the insides of the rides.
First screen is breath-taking. -

All things considered the first screen in your newest post there is excellent even by current standards. The 2nd one is okay but I've never been able to get into dark rides in rct... The 3rd is brillent, even better than I remember in some respects, but a bit worse in others.
This park is spotlight quality, finished or not.

I absolutely love that Peter Pan ride.
the rest is all right. the black paths don't fit in my opinion. -

True, but without custom objects... Good work!I must admit...I think that this is way below what you've been up to lately.
Still, looks nice. -

Oly crap, first Iris reply in this topic ever!I must admit...I think that this is way below what you've been up to lately.
Still, looks nice.
And of course it's below standards.... no awesome TT scenery. -

Been gone almost a year and you still aren't done. Looks nice though. I really like the peter pan ride. -

The 1st screen isn't that impressive, but the two "indoor" rides are amazing!
For crying out loud, finish this thing. -

I like all three of those pics. I like how it's all about how the big picture and how everything ties together. It's a good park to look at from a large window. And excellent Disney style, I'm really liking it. Keep it up, you sexy sexy man. -

Brilliant.
I love the pirate area, it has such a great atmosphere and doing it all without any custom objects is pretty amazing.
You have some talent man, well done. -

While I still believe that it'll get Spotlight, I don't think that the recent screens are as good as the previous ones. I'm not a huge fan of any of the screens but the Peter Pan one is the best. I love the idea of showing inside the rides.
So, overall, they're good but not the best. -

I followed the updates on this park since the first screen, back then I could say I was impressed, but this park has gone on for too long. Don't get me wrong, it is still spotlight quality, and I'd love to dowload it soon, but the game has evolved since then, and it kind of seems less impressive as time goes on. The only thing I could suggest is to be more creative, a litttle more detail, then MAYBE it could a the same quality as when we first saw this topic. -

I agree. While the scenery is limited, these recent screens especially look average at best. The archy is blocky generally and the whole tops of the buildings are flat and boring...I don't know if you're going for that, or what, but I think it looks bad.eh, if a noob would post these screens, it would get shot down.
Not bad though, but if a n00b posted those, he wouldn't get good feedback, in my opinion. -

Hmmm....I'm thinking I like this one.
The Pan section looks really cool and the color scheme tends to flow very nicely. The Pirates of the Caribean may be a little blocky but in essence, it really has a Disney atmosphere. I love the fact that there's absolutly no custom scenery in this thing, too. Keep up the good work, Corkmeister. -

True, due to lack of custom scenery. But that is pretty good without custom scenery if you ask me.eh, if a noob would post these screens, it would get shot down.

I kinda agree, actually.I agree. While the scenery is limited, these recent screens especially look average at best. The archy is blocky generally and the whole tops of the buildings are flat and boring...I don't know if you're going for that, or what, but I think it looks bad.

I'm not sure if you can tell anymore, but I'm not as seroius about this as I used to be. It's more of a pet project I want to finish before I start my next full sized park, and while I'm still in the mood, I might as well do some work.
Personally, I think that the park is better in game than through screens. Call it a bit of Aero Syndrome... but that's just my opinion. But yeah, it is no where near amazing anymore, assuming it was in the first place. Though I'm definitely happy with the atmosphere I've created. But you can't really see that unless you're in the game.
Anyway, if I finish the park, I think I'll post it as a Runner Up, unless people think it's not fair and I'm just abusing my powers. But if I hit the limit before the Magic Kingdom park is done, I'll just release it here. -

Maybe let someone else judge it? That way no one can claim you're abusing your powers... -

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have completely finished the Eastern Realm themed area, making 5/9 themed lands 100% done. I never figured to go through this area so quickly, but I guess things just worked. Work is done on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Fire, the land's premier E-ticket attraction. Similar to the Disneyland Paris version, this roller coaster also incorporates some dark ride elements as riders careen around an ancient temple filled with various artifacts, as well as traps!
The temple itself came out a lot better than I ever could have expected given the fact that I forgot to put in the stone base block (unless there wasn't on originally), so I like it. Unfortunately, I don't really want to show pictures of it because it's one of the things I really like and would like to save as a surprise.
However, stay tuned for a special treat... an actual Jungle Cruise tour, complete with spieling and such, just as if you were on the ride! That's coming up next, as soon as I finish typing it! -

Walt Disney Escape proudly presents...
The JUNGLE CRUISE
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the World Famous Jungle Cruise. My name is Albert, and I'll be your strip-- I mean skipper today as we brave the treacherous waters of the jungle aboard the Uganda Lady. As we leave the dock, be sure to wave good-bye to the people on shore. You may never, ever see them again... muahahaha! Of course, you've probably never, ever seen them before...
Anyway, we're now entering the tropical rain forest. Feel that refreshing mist in your face? Yeah, it's amazing how many types of airborne diseases there are in it..."
"Oh boy, we're going to start our cruise off a little on the wild side. Hang on to your seats! We are no entering the dangerous white-water rapids of Kilamanjaro!"
"And we're now leaving the dangerous white-water rapids of Kilamanjaro!"
"Now, over to your left is the majestic Bengal tiger, one of the most ferocious creatures on Earth! The Bengal Tiger can clear over twenty feet in one jump, but fortunately, we're only ten feet away from him, so he'll soar right over us!"
"I'm gonna take you by the log cabin my buddy Larry likes to use when he needs a peaceful place to write. He's always loved how it's--oh. Oh no! This is terrible. But you know, I'm not surprised. Larry always had a fire for his craft. Sometimes, he'd get a flash of insight and burn the midnight oil writing away. 'Course, then again, he always wanted to go out in a blaze of glory...
...yeah, thank you to the three of you who laughed at that. It's always good to have family on board."
"We're now entering the Nile River, the longest river in the world. And if you don't believe me, you're in de-Nile.
And if you all look to your right, you'll see... absolutely nothing."
"Ah, here we are at the amazing African Veldt. Look at all the animals! Monkeys... giraffes... rhinos... and look at the pack of lions! They're protecting that sleeping zebra! Awwww... isn't that cute? That's right, zebras love to sleep like that, tongue hanging ou, neck twisted in that awkward position, pieces of flesh ripped out to the side... I'm sure he was dead tired anyway."
"And here we are passing the famous Schweitzer Falls, named of course for that legendary explorer, Dr. Albert Falls."
"Hey! Look at that crocodile to the left! What a mean creature. Does anyone know how to tell the difference between a crocodile and an alligator? No...? Yeah... me neither."
"Wow... well, over there's that lost safari we've been hearing about. They've obviously gotten mixed up in some sort of local uprising. Well, bottoms up fellows, I'm sure you'll get the point... in the end."
"Over to the left, you might notice some of our more advanced animatronics, able to walk around, point, stand in single-file lines, and ask where the restroom is even though there's one ten feet away...
And over to the right, some bamboo. Ya know, bamboo can grow up to six stories tall. I've seen it grow to seven stories, but that's a whole other story"
"And now, the moment you've all been waiting for: the amazing, the colossal, the stupendous, the eighth wonder of the world -- the back side of water!
Yes, yes, I know it's not something you see everyday. ...but I do."
"Oh no! Those of you on the right, watch out! We're under attack by some natives!!" *ducks while making flying spear sound effects* "By the way, if any of you get hit by a spear, pull it out and toss it back unless you want to pay for your souvenir."
(note: you'll see a better view of them on the next screen, but this is the only view where you can see the boat and the savages)
"Oh, and there's my ol' buddy Trader Sam. Business has been shrinking lately, so if you buy one of his wares today, he'll have his wife make a fine dinner for you. Yeah, I hear she's delicious..."
"All right, we're now coming back to civilization. We've seen a lot of dirty and hairy things today. Speaking of dirty and hairy things, Nick and Jennifer will help you out of the boat when we dock. As for me, I had so much fun I'm going to go again! ...and again... and again...
All right, we're here. Get out. ...oh goodness, I forgot my manners. PLEASE, get out. The exit is on the right side of the boat, folks, and as you get off the boat, please watch your step and mind your head. If you miss your step and hit your head, watch your language, Disneyland is a family place."
