    Correct, for once. Rats are much cleaner, socialize easily, don't bite, and are fairly easy to take care of. I have 2 males living together. Maybe they haven't tried to kill each other because we got them at the same time and they are brothers. They like to sleep together when it is cold. (Yes, it gets sort of cold in Florida.)

    Just make sure you don't introduce a female into their presence, or else they WILL fight. :lol: Or at least that's my experience (7th grade).

    They didn't fight through the 5 days we took care of my friend's two females. They all ran around on my couch. Together. In harmony.

    Yes yes, I've had a gerbil and two hamsters before (all at different times)...but apparently, Boston terriers aren't too keen on, ahem, "competition"...

    My sister had to gerbils, who we were told were brothers, but we ended up with 20+ something gerbils... Now we have no gerbils at all, lol.

    We do have a cat though, Maya. Cats are much better than gerbils.

    I actually buried one of my fish in a plastic orange slice because it lived the longest of all my fish. I found out fish suck.

    Unless the fish has been dead for so long that it sticks to the side of the toilet. Then it's about as fun as flushing your own poop.
