Hello.
It's been a long while since I have written anything. Too long to be totally honest...
I haven't really had the time to just sit down and type out something legitimate or truthful on here for like the last 2 months or so (as far as these go).
With my movie done and trying to get a distribution deal, my other hobbies non-RCT related, plus trying to get my life sorted, writing in general for me has taken a back burner and it's kind of frustrating to want to get everything off of my chest and not being able to do so.
I have found comfort here on the boards, even when I was a whiny little girl at times. As stupid as that sounds, you'd be surprised how much writing can do for you as far as a stress reliever goes.
Even when I get complaints about my writing (cough Moonspoon/JellyBones), I still enjoy the fact that someone is reading, and that they tell me to stop complaining about how everything is "unfair"...
Well everything IS in fact unfair in some way, shape or form. I am not talking about things not going your way, I am talking about everything in general. Seldom do I see something workout for one person without screwing someone else over. It's kind of like the "there always has to be a loser" mentality applied to everything in life instead of just competitive games...
For instance, I found $20 lying on the floor the other day. While many would consider that "lucky", think about the bafoon who lost the $20. Maybe they deserved to lose it, maybe they didn't, maybe they aren't a bafoon after all and just got unlucky. Either way, they still got the short-end of the veritable stick, while I reaped the reward.
It isn't fair. For anyone. You just have to look at the big picture thinking to yourself, when times get hard, or luck isn't going my way, you gotta continue to roll with the punches. Take your beating and get up for the next round, so you can punch that bitch square in the nose with all of your force and knock that fucker down.
I also use the term "luck" losely. Maybe it's because by heart I am a gamer, and in being a gamer, "luck" plays a big part in what I do with my spare time. Whether I am playing Magic, poker or any other game in general, you always take risks and have to realize that no matter how GOOD or skilled you are at something, luck can always play into it and crush your dreams like a bug.
Luck in general to me is just random occurances, even if people don't believe in it. Trust me when I tell you, it does exist, whther the true definition of it actually does or not.
Recently I have been "unlucky", but like I mentioned above, no matter how bad things get, they can always get better, even if them getting worse is a possibility. Ultimately, you just have to live with it and move on. Life isn't easy, but it's not impossible either, no matter how bad the circumstances.
With all of this said, I am glad I have these forums to come to. Even when things are slow at times, just looking at someone else's work and such can be comforting, in a weird sort of way. Maybe I am just feeble, I don't really know. All I know is I love this place, and I want to thank everyone for the times I had here thus far, and hopefully the times we will have in the future...
With all of that jazz out of the way, I must share with you all some other amusing things that have been going on around here lately...
I have been perusing the boards for any kind of shenanigans or funny posts when I came across some "new" pictures in the Games and Polls forum...
These are the things I discovered...
- Now I know why Steve rides fat chicks and giant pandas...
- Renee is V. SCARY sometimes!
Turtle is amazing...
- Dark Janus is a sexy sexy boy...
- Jacko is a very weird little man. His even weirder friend has a cute handbag.
- SUPERTROOPER...a TRUE man's man (in every sense). Awesome B&W pic dude.
Who EVER thought TURTLEBLOB could be sophisticated?...
At OTHER part of the New Element forum, hilarity ensues...
Shenanigans in their purest form...
A very disturbing, yet hilarious Man-Love Triangle featuring two of the gayest and 1 of the most straight...
Wanna see a fat-fuck from Detroit get his face punched in? Click HERE and scroll down...
GULJAM proves my theory yet again that Asians are amazing at everything they do...
These proceeding atrocities are the good, the bad, and the hilarious of the current NE forums.
OTHER EXCITING WORLD NEWS
- George W. has done nothing but further embarrass and humiliate this country since his re-election. I guess nothing positive will ever come from him, other than maybe his assassination. One can only pray...
- Ron Artest is suspended for the rest of the season, putting his NBA basketball career in jeopardy.
- I guess everyone officially sells out at some point. Sam Raimi is
REMAKING The Evil Dead...
- Could THIS signal an effect like the Day After Tomorrow? WTF!!!!?!?!?!111one

- The Nintendo Dual Screen is out now. I suggest buying one. Not only because it's an amazing handheld, but because the PSP is a big pile of dogshit. I played one already and it's the nut-low. DS all the way. If you want more info on the DS, I suggest going to a fellow member's awesome WEBSITE to check it out.

RCT CORNER
- by Ann Bowman
Howdy.
Anny B. here with the first EVER installment of the RCT Corner. Today we are going to be discussing a few of the upcoming RCT 3 parks that are currently being showed in the Advertising District, yyo's trippy reality and the upcoming H2H season.
Coster's World of Bad English
Coster, the German wonder, is currently working on a lovely little park with very detailed architecture. The park is yet to be named, so I like calling it what it's title is. The park is still a young baby, so there isn't much to comment on besides the cool-looking entrance.

Fantasy Islands
Tsunami's contribution to the Corner is a quiant little piece of work called Fantasy Island, which went a few days before even getting it's first reply. The park looks similar to Trixie-pooh's work, but the clear use of fireworks distinguishes it from all other current RCT 3 projects as of right now. Has great lighting and a decent-looking carousel.

SDI presents Land of the Dead
Well, knowing Raven AND having seen the actual park in it's entirety already, I might be a little biased here when I say this is actually his best work EVER. The park is massive coming in at a very impressive 210x210 and the space is being filled rather quickly I might add. The adventure ride, Land of the Dead is coming along nicely, though Raven is very disappointed that it cannot come to full reality due to his "zombies" having Punpkins for heads and there being no fire scenery like in RCT 2. The coasters are a work of beauty and the theming is somewhat lackluster, but he is trying hard.

Disneyland 3D
New Element newcomer, flmscor is ALREADY making a name for himself in the community with his first project, a Disneyland recreation in RCT 3. There have been countless bafoons who have done and tried this before, but being the OCD-type, flmscor has decided to build this motherfucker to actual scale. This guy was crazy enough to bring his laptop to the actual park to get tree placement down! Talk about dedication! Not to mention the park looks gorgeous already. This is definitely a project I look forward to downloading when he is finished. I also look forward to anything flmscor decided to make, being a man of dedication and all (and a hottie).

Tussaud's Enchanted Kingdom
Ah, good old Trixie-pooh (aka Bettina Barns) is up to his normal hijinx with this beautiful and illustrious park of his (in 3D I might add). This new RCT just might be the Reign of Meretrix as the possible best. Though an early prediction, I have no doubts as long as he doesn't quit, it will hold water. Tilted Acres and the other park of his tried to accomplish what RCT 3 can do and RCT 2 couldn't and he STILL got 2 spotlights out of it. I can't wait until this park is totally done. Best RCT 3 work to date from ANYONE I have seen.

On the LL front...
Alice in Wonderland
yyo continues to wow me by showing the new screens of his latest endeavor entitled Alice in Wonderland. Filled with extravagant color schemes and a great theme, his new park is looking very promising for the grandfather of the RCT series. Look out for new screens and a forthcoming release of this splendid park.

That's all for this edition of the RCT Corner, on the next instalment I will have updates on most of these projects as well as a park review of OhioCoasterFreak's latest grand adventure.

QUOTE OF THE DAY
"I am going to start a school called 'Teaching Women how to Be Women (by a Man)'."
- Billy, my metrosexual straight friend
WORDS OF ADVICE
An apple a day keeps the doctor away.
MOVIE OF THE DAY
The Incredibles
- This movie, is IN FACT, INCREDIBLE. I suggest everyone gives PIXAR support as they get the Disney claw off their back.
CD OF THE DAY
Sum 41- Chuck
- I am by no means a fan of this band. I hate their music, the "scene" they are in and everybody who likes this shit. This CD is, however and as much as I'd like to say otherwise, brilliant in every aspect. Just about every song is good and this band was out on a mission to convert as many haters (like myself) as possible. I say give it a try, it's not as bad as one would think.
On that last note, I must call it a day and say ado...
Until the next exciting episode...
I love you all,

Just admit you are jealous of me, Rave.
By the way, most excellent read. I like the RCT Corner, very interesting. Also, I was unsure about Sum 41 and their album, but now I feel like I must give it a look see.

This may be true, although you can not deny that hs future as a player does not look that bad. Had his team mates caught the passed that were definately catchable, they would have more then likely won that game. Manning looked good, he had a good awareness of pressure, He got rid of the ball quickly and was sacked only once, he was very calm in the pocket, and he definately played better in the second half bringing them close to a come behind victory.
I think, if his receivers (mostly Shockey, who dropped three easily catchable passes) got their heads out of their asses, he will start to fall into place and become the great QB I hope he will be. -

i want to fuck the Renee in that picture.
i used to like Steve. ask Git, he'll post logs. i never used to quit when talking about him. but all of that was before i saw that picture. -

Thanks for the mention Raven. And yeah, it fucking sucks Raimi is selling out. He's already basically remade Evil Dead, but in a funny way. Don't see why he feels he needs to remake it again -

Your parkmaking still kicks my ass.
The rct corner thing is a great idea but you overlooked costers rct2 park that looks INSANE man. He is an architect to be reconded with. wow.
Nice read though.

Is that YetiGKM!!? What's up bud?
Anyway, excellent article.
I especially enjoyed this.
Ah yes, and I certainly hope you weren't referring to me as one of the "straightest" ones around. I am, in fact,
not gay. But very "metrosexual" (ok, girly). I have been known to even be girly on a basketball court, which is not easy.
And I'd love to give Sum 41 another try. ...in fact, why do we hate them again?
Oh yeah, and why didn't anyone tell me to get the Killers album. Man I gotta get that. Is that popular? -

RE: Pictures
Dayam... Janus DOES look like a sexy Euro model. Either that or a crazy Euro goth guy... either way... cool stuff.
Jacko looks about 6 years younger than I thought he was. Of couse, I figured he was like 17...
Meanwhile, supertrooper looks about 10 years OLDER than I thought he was... talk about a man's man. We're men... we're men in tights! (Tight tights!)...
I think I've seen a pic of Steve... he looks the way I'd expect.
Dammit, Turtle, is that really you doing all those flips? That's incredible... and insane... and beats any 4D coaster they could ever invent. Impressive stuff, if that's you (that's what I understood from Raven's comments).
Who's Renee again? EDIT: NVM... figured it out. And geez... talk about Michael Jackson..........
www.sorryeverybody.com was started by a USC guy. Originally on USC's web space. Except ISD (that's our internet body) had to shut the site down because it took up 80% of all of usc.edu's bandwidth the day it opened. That's right... 80% of the ENTIRE SCHOOL'S BANDWIDTH.
And not a good analogy to compare Eli to Owen... cuz that means he'll die in some bungee accident at the KC Chiefs' home field.
Interesting read as usual... I'm actually contemplating starting up my own little "regular" column, one more geared toward comedy/satire/sarcasm, similar to what Jason Levy writes on Wednesdays for the Daily Trojan. He's one funny guy.
And too bad you posted this before moediaz made his warez ad... and the promptly got banned by Adix before I could even respond to a PM that he sent me...
Good day. -

Everyone always tells me I look like a 6 foot 5th grader. And I will in fact, be 17 in two weeks.
