So ya, stayed up all night, thundering most of the night, lightning started right around 3:30... first noticed the snow on my window at around 5:15, thought it was just some weird water thing, lol, then my mom rushed in and told me it was snowing. First time since 2002 (which was only for a couple mins), second time, and the most we've gotten in 20 years. It's really crazy driving around town seeing all the snow on cars, the hills (we're in a valley) covered in snow... really awesome actually. Went from 5ish to 8, there's still some good amount on the hills. Hopefully it'll bring some more down tonight, that'd be wicked cool. :birthday2:

Yeah there was snow here in Canyon Lake a few hours ago, pretty exciting, we NEVER get snow...

wtf. You have more snow than most of the New England ski mountains.
So how many people in fancy Lexuses out there crash from having no idea how to drive in the snow?

eh, that's nothing. Started snowing a few days ago here, and it haven't really stopped. So much snow...

I love it how people who rarely if ever get snow (i.e. SoCal) get all giddy and crazily happy over an inch of it, and the people who always get snow (i.e. here) get all pissed off and angry when we get an inch of it. Exceptions to this rule are those who ski or snowboard (i.e. me).

Snows every other winter were I live, North West England. All I could ask for round here were hills, big ones.... stupid Cheshire plains... flat as a pancake. Not good for boarding :'(

Thanks to that metro Atlanta shuts down with even the prediction of half of an inch of snow.

The Boston area got some snow I think, shit, like a week or two back. Got about 3 inches or something like that, but I don't pay attention so it was probably more. But yeah, I shoveled and all that good shit you do when it snows. I guess Moon didn't get snow (?).

Ohhh you know what's fun. Ice storms. Those are dangerous; the effects are like a hurricane, but it's really cold.

We had a flurry the other day. I remember our last proper snow was in April (this is the first time it's snowed before christmas for quite a while). Birmingham rarely sees snow, but in April it was amazing. It's quite good cos I live near a golf course so we go sledging there.

WTF indeed. Here in the winter wonderland (Michigan) we haven't seen a flake of snow yet and by this time last year we had a couple inches. Then again the trees are all bare so it's only a matter of time.

Snow is awasome for about a week when it first starts falling and the top layer is all fresh and smooth. After a couple weeks with snow on the ground though it gets dirty, covered in foot prints, slushy and in general you hate it.

The coolest snow is that first couple times of the year when it sticks to the trees and everything, that shit is sweet.

Anyway I'm glad you're enjoying your little winter.

For the 13 years I have lived in Florida, it has never snowed. I hope it doesn't snow. Now shut up, if you hate snow, move here.

I got a light dusting. The grass was still sticking through and everything. It was really weird that day, though. Even just a few miles north got 2 or 3 inches. It was mostly due to my personal proximity to the ocean (re: two thousand feet or so) that we didn't get anything significant. Didn't stick to the pavement at all.

Which is why I'm pissed b/c we've only gotten a trace of it in early October around Chicago.

I just hope The UP (michigan) gets some snow really soon. I'm going on a ski trip and I want the real stuff, not the crappy man-made snow.

For those of you who don't like snow, just be glad you're not in Denver right now. I think they're expecting 10 inches or more this week.
