It was only a matter of time until I would have been forced to flee further into mainland, away from the ensuing attacks, so I went on my own terms. Upon my arrival to Westport, I paid the taxi driver, got out with my suitcase, surveyed my surroundings, and just as I was turning to ask the driver something or get back into the taxi and return forthwith to Springfield and then to Osmond, it sped off without warning, as if the somewhat ominous solitude of the place had unleashed atavistic fears in the driver's mind. For a moment I too was afraid. I must have been a sorry sight standing there helplessly with my suitcase from the seminary, holding a copy of To Kill a Traitor in one hand. Some birds flew out from behind a clump of trees. They seemed to be screaming the name of that forsaken town, Westport, but they also seemed to be enquiring who: quién, quién, quién. I murmured, while the black birds, about twenty-five centimetres in length, cried quién, quién, quién, while other birds, about ten centimetres long, brown in colour, or brownish, rather, with white breasts, called out, but not as loudly, quién, quién, quién, at which point a cold wind sprang up suddenly, chilling me to the bone, and it was then I knew I would never leave.
If the road were smoother, this would be a much stronger screen, but there's really not a way to do that. Kinda sucks, because otherwise this is a pretty cool screen.
Sorry I didn't notic this screen. This shadowguy posted like 100 screens of the same stuff, so I guess this one was caught between those. I'm interested in what this park will be like in the end.
Fantastic, I was a bit worried people were losing interest in this.
Good to hear JJ, as the title suggests, this is really nothing more than a transition area, so that's perfect.
inthemanual, I could've easily made the road straight, but I liked the way it swept over the cliff like real mountain roads do, didn't think it was too harsh, honestly.
Wicksteed, glad you liked the road as I did.
Faas - Me too, I have quite a few ideas that I won't (and probably couldn't, for that matter) show until the park's release. So even though it sucks I can't show the whole breadth of the project, it will be worth it on the first viewing.
posix, I miss your comments man, they're always so thoughtful, and you really break down what you're looking at. I love that so much.

Definitely good. Not my favorite screen from the wasteland, but I like way the road traverses the landscape, and the rock-face.

Wow, one of the more impressive of your recent screens on this project. Really complicated design but made to look effortless. Good job.
