This project is coming along so nicely. I really do feel that once you complete this your skill level will be so much higher as a result, then you can embark on a new project that's a little more cleaned compositionally. Right now, your layout of the park holds you back, but the ideas you're demonstrating are magnificent.
Definite improvement on the old screen you posted; this is looking really quite impressive. I particularly like the heartline coaster archway under the glass; such a great idea.
Looks good. I like all the colors and how lively you made it. If I were to suggest how to make it better; tighten up the paths and make it all closer together for a more 'cozy' feel. It also makes your architecture look really small because all the open space. This might not be a problem though, and it may just look this way from the viewing angle. Also add more little details to the path like benches, litter bins, signs, you know etc..
I think your architecture looks great. On the brown building I would try using the diagonal awning piece, all brown, instead of the other roof piece. It might blend in better this way with your other roof type you have.
I really like your style dude, keep having fun with it!
@FK: thanks for the positive words. I disagree a little about the park layout limiting me too much, because I am planning to re-vamp some of the "older" sections and breathe a bit more life into them. I do see where you're coming from and recognize some of the mistakes I made with the layout, I just don't think it's the limiting reagent here.
@stoksy: Thanks! glad you like it. That arch went through a few iterations before I felt good about it.
@JJ: Thanks for the idea about the awning piece, it'll probably look better there. I also feel like I need to spice that section of the ride up a bit more, but I'm not sure exactly how. The final version of this might have a cutaway to the interior of the darkride as well, IF I can make it look good enough.
Path details and other things should help fill in that space that you're talking about, they just aren't there yet.
@coups: I have a plan B for a quick switcheroo on the building's layout, to make the wheel less cut into the building, BUT I got my inspiration for it from both Tivoli Gardens and Coney Island, which are more similar to how it is now.
Edit: I just noticed a floating block beneath the wheel supports. That is an accident. Ignore it please.
