The shapes of the cabins is fine. Fewer windows would do, though. Still, I don't like the random textures added here and there (the most blantant being that ruin wall at the bottom of that gray building).
To me the placement of the cabins right on the water is a bad choice. Structurally this is not good, especially that one cabin that's sitting right at the edge. Spacing out the cabins would also be a smart idea.
The ruin wall at the base of the gray building was supposed to be like a rock/brick base for it. Any other ideas on how to pull that off?
As to the placement, I like where they're at in relation to each other, but I can move the larger one or pull up some more land to make it further from the water.
I have room to replace/add one or two on the other side of the gray building. thoughts on that?

even though real life sleeping cabins may be this size, I don't think their the right scale for the game

^Why not?
I think it's fine.

So bigger or smaller? I think anything bigger would be too big, and smaller would be too small, but i'd love to hear your thoughts.

I'd say add a few to the other side of the gray building.. and also have uniform textures on the cabins.
