I think the eclectic style inherent to dkso style building is thematically relevant here. Random elements coming together in your mind to form new dreamlike images. It's excellent. The swirls are as good as any swirls we've seen.
The only part that I would point out as a flaw is the flow into that fly-to-lie element on the bottom right. Awkward banking.
Very few builders can create buildings this realistic and relatable with 10,000 quarter-tile objects at their disposal, and you've knocked it out of the park with what was once considered to be the most jarring object set. Already one of my favorite urban scenes, and not just because I wish I lived in a surrealist painting.
My god those effects are magical. Still stunned this is DKSO. I do agree with Liam on the banking though. Maybe unbank the hill earlier and have the roll go the other way?
Gotta love to see the DKSO asterix even when it's phenomenal work :wearyasheck: The Building on the left is superb and the object and texture usage honestly surpasses quite a bit of the current cso meta. I'm beyond excited for the eventual release of this map. It's gonna be a good one.
Thanks everyone for the kind words and feedback. This project has been a journey to put together, as I alternate between stream-of-consciousness building and absolute precision. I can't wait to share it with the world this year.
The website isn't letting me post images in reply threads, but I re-profiled the fly-lie section - looks much better now. I appreciate the tip!
I think the gardens really make it pop!
incredible

Love the archy! Such creative use of the default objects.
I'm glad you decided to keep this in the park somewhere. Great use of objects and color!

Fantastical realism at high level, perhaps the best we've seen on this scale in years.
Best of success finishing this Blue.
Sublime.
Not bad for DKSO.
