if there's such a thing as too much texture, this park has it i think. the quality and ideas are undeniable, but i still find the viewing experience to be slightly uncomfortable. maybe that works with the theme, i definitely seem to be in the minority. don't mind being wrong once in a while! having said that, there are parts of this map that are up there with anything in h2h in terms of me remembering them... can't argue with that.
The commitment to texturing throughout this park really brought this idea to a top-tier level of execution. The grit and the overgrownness of foliage sells the creepy, gruesome concept--along with the murky shades of green--to capture a realm where it very well could be Halloween all year long.

I thought the crunchy paths RWE did were a bit risky, but loved it in the end, gave it that dilapidated feel the park needs imo, but I get some people thought it was a bit too much.. Thanks for the replies guys!
i felt harsh writing this, it's obviously a great park and got you guys the win which is probably the main thing. there's so much to like on the map, and like i said i seem to be in the minority so wouldn't care too much about it!
I'm unfortunately not a fan of the path texturing, but less because of it being overly textured and more because it comes across as a clean path surface with a bunch of stuff on it. If that's the intention then y'all succeeded, but a more textured path with less on top of it may have been more convincing. I will say the landscaping is some of the most underrated in H2HX. The crazy detailed rockwork and foliage all around the map edge stole the show for me.
Still really proud of the 'coastline' with its gritty palette and entrance gates. Great collaboration with Babar, RWE & BG getting this done to this level.

This was one of the more memorable parks of the contest for me - thought it was just a really clearly defined concept, great job
