Fantasy or not, coaster looks a tad undersupported.
Agree. Some extra supports underneath the cobra roll and the big curve on the left would make it look a little less flimsy. Wood is definitely not as strong as steel; use more supports to compensate.
Wow Mulpje, looks incredible. So so glad to see you resurface with such a bang. I want to know everything about this project please
The effect is beautiful and created with good taste and strong refinement. Immediately made me remember why you're an NE parkmaker. Extremely good use of negative space which is such a strong feature for me here next to the intense detail level throughout. It feels like you silently unlocked a new macro level in your style and it's amazing.
I do actually quite like the palette here as it's mostly used well. I just wish you could have a bit more contrast overall. The colours blend together more quickly where they're not striking like the yellow or black. So with everything in between orange and brown, I feel it would produce an improvement if all the contours of things like the trees were more readily delineatable. Even the coaster track in its colour is almost a little bid timid maybe.
No matter, very impressive work that I'm super keen to see more of.
Cool interactions here! As others said the colors are really nice. The texture use is neat and tastefully added. Additional supports on the cobra roll would help make it feel more supported, I think
this is awesome. i completely agree with the supporting shout, and also with the coaster color - just blends a little too much. the other thing i don't love / think there might be a better option for is the main tree color (like on the willows) - it ends up being a slightly flat brown color foliage-wise, and a little dip either side into terracotta/red or a duller brown might make it feel less flat?
