I think it could be even further elevated with some subtle textures. Where the water meets the shore for example. Try to darken the sand along the water - give it an organic shape as opposed to the hard lines. Waves likely aren't appropriate for this setting, so the ground texture will be important in helping to break it up. As well as popping some larger rocks in the water - along the bottom and poking through the surface.
Another small suggestion would be to put a small bush or piece of foliage in front of the bottom of those columns. Right now they feel like they're floating a bit. Putting something in the foreground would subtly make it feel like it's embedded in the ground there.
Honestly though, great work man. Big fan of you and this map and am looking forward to seeing more as always.
Really cool stuff, Fred. In regards to Josh's idea of adding foliage to the base of the pillars - you could also consider adding more things like barrels, Spacek's bucket of things, rope, fisch's weapons rack, etc.
But, those picnic table areas look super cozy regardless!
I think you could definitely do something more with the swinging ship's queue line and exit path to make it look a bit more organic and make it interact more with the surroundings. The shit itself is cool though.
Edit: I meant to say the ship* is cool but there is also cool shit on this map so....
Agree with faas about the ship wueue. I really like the red and white sail custom flat as well as the rock columns and canvas awnings in the cneter of the screen. Definitely like the rts vibe rwe mentioned

Has RTS game vibes somehow. Lovely stuff. You need to detail the water a bit.

Loving the vibe here. Josh has a point in regards to the textures here though. For the rest, no complaints! Love the foliage here

You got it! I love this kind of detail, it's a great way to break up a classic theme into something unique. Keep it up!

Echoing comments from discord-- some finesse on the water/beach transition will pull this to the next level. Really liking it so far though.
