Right now, it's texturally bland and a bit too monotonous color-wise (even for Mirror's Edge). In the game, the buildings and such had little splashes of color details and most of the skyscrapers had not this 'industrial' white as you do. That's mostly a textural thing, though.
The planters were inspired from the ones at the bottom of this image. I definitely need to take a few more cues from this though, like the yellow awnings breaking up the monochrome building face. Newer buildings will have more color. Also, the coaster is very liekly to run through here, which will break up the blandness a lot. What do you think about adding a crane?
Since cranes were a pretty big portion of the game, I would toss one in there. Will the coaster be red as I would probably expect? I wouldn't be afraid to add some more 3d elements to those walls-- some additional vertical or horizontal deco pieces would really help.
Also, the large pane of glass was yellow when I posted this in the AD, but i've since changed it to light blue, which dulls the color of this screen a bit. I think it's better blue for the big picture though, as the yellow glass might be overwhelming next to the yellow interior of the mall.
A plaza and the mall entrance from my Mirror's Edge inspired park. I know the white foliage isn't great for a lot of you, but I'm keeping it to remain true to the game.

The Foliage looks pretty neat actually.

I like the idea with the planters.

I'd be a much bigger fan of the white trees if you had a lot more of them.

I like what you did with the white foilage. I dont know if it works tough. I would go for a more grayish color.
