Description
Racing Alpine Coaster I build for a DKMP Ride Creation Contest. Heavy on the landscaping, as I like doing.
It was fun to experiment with the new coaster type, but it was quite difficult to get to it to look right. Especially netting around track is basically impossible to do with NCSO, even more so on curved track, so I decided to just not place any.
Since guests riding the coaster can decide their own speed, it is impossible to get them to duel consistently. Guests do have the possibility to race each other, and that would definitely happen with such a coaster in real life. Though in real life there would be more netting.
All in all a lot of fun to build, but not a coaster type you can just place in any park. -

Wow this is dope! Love the unique style.
The palette washes it out a bit in my opinion, but I love the architecture and landscape. Feels very Central American which I've been enjoying lately.

From the feedback here and on DKMP I've noticed people either really like, or really dislike the palette.
I do agree the colours are a bit washed out, and I initially chose this palette for a different theme, but didn't want to change it halfway through the build. I like the different shades of grey, brown and green it has, but it's missing some dark or bright colours.
Really fun and dynamic landscaping. Great eye for composing a scene.
I love this all around, colors included! I keep coming back to look at it every time I visit the site -- really nice work.
