This is just a bunch of peeps and some movement away from being spectacular and oozing with atmosphere. Glad to see you working on this again/still. 1.5 year after you first posted a screen...
Damn you're good at this game. I don't know how you manage to fit so much detail while retaining such distinct outlines, everything is spotless. I don't love the checker path in larger quantities, but it'll probably look fine covered with peeps
Thanks all. I get very little time to build on this, and motivation is always up and down, but progress is progress.
@Walto, I've actually thought about this before haha. I think it's partly to do with my use of trims to define corners as well as how I use textures to create depth. I find it really difficult to build something, and consequently really unsatisfying to look at to the point it almost makes me anxious, if my builds don't have the distinct outlines, but at the same time I feel like it's a hard line to toe because it can create a bit of a soulless, unnatural feeling.
Love this screen. I think the clear colored trims/archy versus the dull colored checkerboard road works perfect. It really draws the eye exactly where you want to.

The architecture is pretty flawless here but my favourite part is the lush foliage in the centre. Everything done right for me.

Beautiful screen - love how clean it is while capturing the natural irregularities and grittiness.

Which texture is the brick you used on the both white buildings on the left?

@trav: love your mindset here about using trims to create distinct outlines. Very thoughtful way to construct your environments.
