I like this a lot. Love the different vertical levels. One thing I'm not huge on is that building middle/left - the single pirate rooves lines up like that isn't my favorite thing.
In general, it's tough to really find anything not to like about this. Maybe could use some more underwater foliage? I dunno. Great work.
Maybe a nitpick, but the same complaint I had on the last screen I have with this one. The invert feels out of place a bit with the lack of custom supports. You have them on the spinning coaster, why not on the invert?
Otherwise, once again pretty much perfect, loving the productivity.
This is outrageous. I feel like creating interesting architectural forms like this that are all cohesive but feel different and unique is such an underrated skill, especially with a limited scenery selection. Might be my favorite ever pirate theme already.
Very very nice, i like your experimentation with taller structures, its been very successful so far! two things i’d look into are adding some details underwater and the brown 2x2 tower with the castle turret sticking out near the windmill. that one doesn’t really work imo, just a bit amateur-ish looking compared to the rest

I hear you but I'm yet to find an NCSO solution for B&M supports that is cleaner/I like more than the default tbh. If I decide to add the new track types (which is very tempting with the new pieces) then I would make some single-rail supports.
Good shit. This is exactly what I wanted for foliage in your other screens.
One thing holding it back from being truly remarkable (and this is probably a Steve preference more than anything): adding depth to your waterways. You have these incredible structures with verticality and depth of their own with this flat as fuck river cutting through it. It doesn't exactly kill the vibe, but I think giving the land below the water's surface some variety will only elevate the scene.
always raising the bar. not sure i'm fully convinced of the track under the water but that's a minor quibble for an absolutely gorgeous scene.
I'm totally open to suggestions here btw. Also with Steve's points in mind about making it deeper/less even. I've no idea how these kind of rides should look underwater.
This probably the best high detailed stuff you've done. The composition is interesting maybe what Steve said is on to something. The bridge and coaster also feels stretched but it's out of focus so idk.
You're doing a great job with shaping your buildings at a sub-full-tile level. Every building in the top right corner has something going on. Castle turret, reversed hotdog stall, mine huts. You're getting a lot of mileage out of these.
If there's anything I like less, it's the windmill structure. Too bulky, too large scaled to fit in with the more human scaled surroundings, and the brown 2x2s are missing the gritty look of the timber framed architecture.

Probably just need water details.

Wonderful scene you've set here. It is detailed beautifully, yet even if it weren't, it is still put together perfectly.
I do agree with CC9 about the single pirate roofs--it is the only detail that jumps out as being too "jagged" in an otherwise fluid environment.
