liampie it's istanbul, not shamalangadingdong in kyrgyzstan where sand is all they can afford, we're talking about the former capital of the eastern roman empire
I wouldn't change the path type, I think the tarmac gives a nice contrast to the other path types and buildings and looks good. I also think it's more realistic to have a tarmac path in a stroller area that is hardly seen from the outside.
Recurious is right in that tarmac makes the most sense from a realistic standpoint in this case.
Since this was posted, the dumpster's been removed and a canvas sail has been added over part of the strollers to give the area a slight touch of color.
I'm confused, what are the strollers everyone is talking about? Are the articulated wooden trains supposed to have something to do with it? That's an enormous stretch of the imagination, not to mention the issues with scale...
It really isn't as enormous of a stretch of the imagination as you're making it out to be, and it looks neater than using some sort of repeating object for it.
Beautifully crafted as expected. I want to see the other side of this building and more of the building on top - from what we can peek at here it looks amazing.
It's very very clean and well executed, but I'm just not getting much atmosphere from it. That's probably just because you've shown us the back area I'm sure, but I think that the green roof also takes away from any sort of theme and just makes it have a pretty generic feel. Not sure how you'd get past that though, maybe try the first red or something.
I wanted the green to stick out and read as slightly generic. Ideally, the situation for this station would be that the green-and-white portion of the building, using its different construction methods and aesthetics, would be the original station for the skyride. The themed Turkish buildings tacked on to it would be later additions to help shield the original building from a revitalized entrance area, with it only really being fully visible from behind the main plaza/thoroughfare of the plaza. This side shows the exit from the station, while the entrance is on the other side in a much more themed portion intended to fit more stylistically into the theme of the area.
Station for BGA's skyride, located in the Istanbul entrance area. Also included is the building for stroller (pram) rental, along with additional outdoor storage space for the strollers. Majority of screen built during streaming.

Maybe change the path type, from tarmac to the orange tiles.

The other side's not finished yet. Rob only had 2 finished angles, and posted this one.

That's exactly why I think it might look better red.

Top notch stuff as always, Robbo! Neat idea for the strollers, too.
