I see this little micro as a big sign of great things to come for you Gustav. Your execution skills are still developing, but execution is the thing that comes with practice. What's more important, to me at least, is that this shows a clear creative vision. That is harder to come by but so rewarding when realized. Excited to hear this is where you want to take your rct, as this kind of artsy, conceptual work has always been my happy place.
Main temple looks a bit boxy/squat to me. I like the roundedness of the little octagonal cover on the bridge.. would be cool to see that shape continue. Regardless of my personal preference, this is a nice bit of art you got here. Also enjoy seeing you explore this side of RCT more.
Cool stuff Gustav. Is there a way you can get the water to properly mould around those pillars on the bridge? The straight line makes it look slightly artificial.
Appreciate the love everyone, it means a lot. The remarks on having the creative vision but not the execution really makes me want to start going hard on some more straightforward stuff to really get it in my head.
Mandala was indeed my main inspiration and point of reference for the reflections! I remember lurking NE when that park dropped and I was absolutely blown away. Such a creative concept done so well. Unfortunately the tile inspector wasn't playing nice with the bridge pillars on my end and it really doesn't look good. Not sure if I should've used a different object, if I didn't inspect enough tiles, or if it was just kinda doomed from the start.
