After the first few months, the regime proved its military might. When the W.C (World Congress) met, they concluded the world threat was so great that international law must be nullified in order to put down the aggressors.

I’ve heard the grotesque tales. I’ve seen the mutilated bodies. The resumption of chemical warfare has shook the world to its core. The New Contagion was unexpectedly the most effective tactic used by the others. Screams ring through the empty heads of the afflicted.

When Riverside was shelled by the pestilence, curious onlookers investigated, clearly awestruck that the dysfunctional bombs failed to deliver their doom…naturally they were the first patients of the invisible enemy. No doubt our leaders wanted to harness the extreme power of this weapon. Perhaps what captivated them most was not its destructive power, but rather its ability to reduce a person to one simple goal: to kill.

No one can be the victor in this war. I’ve accepted my demise; perhaps you should too, dear reader.

wow, i'm really getting that isolated, abandonned feeling from this, are you sure you didn't just copy chernobyl?

Love it. Although I'd say the gas station canopy is rather high..

Shit, your writeups are more impactful than these awesome screens.

This is probably my favorite screen from this project. Using the control boxes as gas pumps is a really clever idea.

Your screens are so small but so powerful.

    Where is this progress wise?

Thank you guys. I really enjoy creating this strange form of beauty, and it's great to keep getting such reassuring responses since this project is definitely not what you're used to seeing, which just proves how great the community we have here is.

To disneylandian, thank you for commenting on the writeup, I was a bit unsure if anyone was interested in the longer portions, but you enjoyed it and I enjoyed writing it, so I will continue to delve into the backstory, though some screens are more effective with a shorter writeup.

Love how you guys say what my screens remind you of, it gives me inspiration material I never even thought to look at, so I really do appreciate that as well.

Corkscrewy, that guess would either be an overestimate or an underestimate, and neither really boost my motivation, so I'm just going to avoid that and say it's coming along nicely.

Gritty rct is a thing and its great. I love urbex and old buildings so this is particulary cool.

This looks so atmospheric! Brilliant execution in conveying complex ideas.

Will this be a 'theme' park (i.e. rides) or just portraying a setting?

    I love you.

To Austin, how is it that I have searched so many different terms to find good buildings for inspiration, and fucking "Urbex" summates all of them and gives me exactly what I need. Unbelievable, thank you for that, haha. Once again, your guys' reactions give even more source material to drive the project.

To Stoksy, it will just be an environment.

To Corkscrewy and Sephiroth, I appreciate the support.
