Quite sweet. The flowers look like dots from a brush, as though it were a real painting.

I really love these cherry blossoms. It's casting a canopy across spots that really adds a lot and makes the area distinct in feel.

The restraint in archy helps too. Makes it feel tranquil.

Personally I'm not a fan of the tree foliage. Might be 11 types of trees here, which clash in textures and colours. Maybe if similar trees could be clumped up, it would help the general vibe.  Also, maybe would make the area feel more Asian if you focus on trees that can nail a certain kind of look that requires very specific trees only. This is sort of just everything, and very spread out.

Overall really nice. This is some of your best work right now. Got some hopes for this park!

The custom trees are wonderful! Your colour palette is also on point :) The incredibly varied use of NCSO foliage is bold but certainly works here.

I'm guessing this area is meant to be a sort of rest spot and lookout for the guests? That's a lovely idea, but I can't help but feel a small, discreet attraction near the summit might tie it all together a little more tightly, and convince more sluggish peeps to climb all those stairs :p

Kudos on the vibrant and zen screen :)

Bumping this because I never saw it before and I love the colours in the foliage.

Agree, the use of flowers is awesome. Reminds me of how it was done in Blue Oak where Miri blended magnolias with light pink flowers to beef them up

has anyone ever made an object that's just those quarter tile flowers but kinda randomly shaped rather than a perfect little square?

My idea was sort of along the idea of weeping cherry trees and I was extremely proud of them. Especially if I do an Asian inspired area, guess what's coming back!

Lovely atmosphere here. I'd love to see more deliberate clusters in the foliage on the hillside, as there is such a strong sense of shape and balance in the flowers and trees around the paths.

This is certainly what I consider my strongest work. It was very gently and meticulously placed. I believe it shows and I'm so glad that this is the reception, even two years later.
