You’re very new to the game and it’s very understandable no one begins with a masterpiece. But with further practice and dedication to the game, I’m sure you’ll improve. Just enjoy yourself and don’t worry if people joke around with you as long as what you show proves to have effort put forth. A very small starter project to finish all the way to completion is a very good way to get a good feel for the game and a mall might work in that regard. I like your mall style, we’ve never seen a pirate version of a mall before on NE, it’s got unique potential. Perhaps add in some entertainers in pirate costumes. Maybe add some bigger windows to the front of your mall to make it look more realistic. Then splash some trees, shrubs and flowers to the grassy section.
