  Yeah fuck all those weird lines and shapes in paths. Why do people keep doing that?

  faas i always use them as curbs, for instance in my sidney park you can see clearly that there's a sort of road with concrete curbs and ofcourse some sort of tiny wall to separate them, plus it's one of the only ways to make circular paths which is quite common IRL

  Yes, but curbs are sort of the only way in which they make sense. Most of the time it just looks messy.
