This is looking great! You going large scale? Fisch and I talked about doing a full scale ski park after H2H but we will probably never get it going to be completely honest. Looking forward to how this turns out!
Funny that I mentioned that I thought your archy style in Point West reminded me of ski resorts because it translates perfectly to this! Would love to make a cameo and build a microbrewery or something haha. Is it going to be winter or summer?
- saxman1089: Thanks I appreciate that! Its currently 100 by 100 but it might get a little bigger depending on how much I can fit in
- In:Cities: thanks man!
-Cam: Haha yea I absolutely love the style! man I know the perfect spot for something like a microbrewery, I'll message you when I'm a bit further along.
My plan is to have 2 maps, one where it is winter, and one where it is summer and there will be mountain biking instead of skiing
I'm liking the archy so far, am I correct in saying I might see a little influence from Fluxtrance's RCT2 project from his YouTube series some time ago?
-jappy: Yea man I feel like this style is heavily influenced by that 5 year old fluxtrance project. I made a few minimaps over on reddit and fell in love with that wood wall object and the natural pallette along the way.
I hope I can come through with the 2 maps as well. My plan with this map is to release it in stages so hopefully I can get stage one out as early as maybe june or july 2020

Never is a very strong word.
Looks great barnNID! I like the set up with the lift and the lodge.
Just personally not a big fan of dark or bright windows. In general if you're trying something realistic, I would always suggest dark windows, with maybe just a few brighter ones scattered through out.
Someone else is building mountain contemporary again! Always has been one of my favorite architectural styles. You've definitely found the right palette for it... it can be done with the standard browns, but the rich, dark chocolate and light, sandy browns add that extra layer of authentic mountain goodness.
You might try experimenting with different path types in place of brown dirt. While the current one is roughly the same color as parts of the surrounding buildings, a different earth-toned path could really make that ski lodge pop.
Obviously this is still really WIP but I've started a new ski resort project. I'd love some help building from anyone that is interested, so hit me up if you're in

There is a lot of influence from that ski mountain made for H2H8 so credit to those that worked on that project
