The vibe definitely seems... old. Not that it's a bad thing, it just seems old.
That might be the fattest top hat I've ever seen, seems like that would create some awesome airtime. Is that a split launch I'm seeing? Does the ride ever roll back due to chain failure?
I also like the idea of before & after screens. I'll post one final from Snozzberry sometime soon.
I agree with Liam... it's crazy how slight changes here and there made this screen so much better. Imo that hangar roof is the biggest improvement on the screen.
The refueling sign is floating though, and I'm not sure how I feel about those matrix supports. Still, this screen screams early-mid 2000s in a good way and the foliage combination is nice.
Thanks yall, definitely my objective is to generally improve the execution of everything while preserving the old school feel and quirkiness, good to know I'm accomplishing that. I've been looking at Vacation Parks from 2005-2007 (particularly Billerica Bay and Sparkly Paradise, which I already ripped off extensively back in the day...) to get inspiration. Even NE parks of that era are a bit more advanced in detailing than I am able to do with the object selection/limit for this park.
@Luketh I've actually yet to have an issue with it getting stuck despite the double chain, it has a lot of extra speed going over the hill and reaches top speed pretty quickly so guess its not a huge issue.
@Jaguar the refueling sign actually is attached to a building, I just did a weird crop in cutaway haha.

Nice improvements. Went from noobish to quite attractive with only minimal intervention it seems. The paths make a huge difference.
I just invented the 'before and after' tag, hopefully that will take off. It's nice to see old and new side by side.

Haha, I like the x-wing ride in the hangar.
