@Kai - thanks and yeah, I wish the 5x5 plots took off too lol
@ar2910 - thank you, monorail trackitecture is a lifesaver for this stuff. Glad you like the brick path too... as you've said, it provides a good contrast.
@Luketh - thank you and maybe I will... although it'll have to hold off until after NEDC lol. The riverbank is way too close, I agree... kind of a pain seeing as this is near the lowest height limit lol.
@cocoa - thanks, it's unfortunately not blacktiled but at the edge of the map given where this structure originated from. The good news is that means this will have an interior.
on a side note, i'm surprised it took the rct community 15 or so years to properly embrace large (read:accurately sized) trees. they just look so much better, the ingame trees look like legoland
This looks great overall! A little unsure of the black trunks on the trees though. Mostly because it blends with the black roofs a bit. Maybe try a shade of brown so that they have better contrast?
Nice expansive and dynamic building! I like how the white organic monorail trackitecture gives it a modern feel, but then you have all that intricate, angular trim and glassworks going on in between, which paired with the moss-green and tan colors sets it back a few decades in terms of architectural style.
Just a few small suggestions/questions, see attached image for reference:
- Can you extend the corner of the top level that is currently sticking out, so that it connects with the floor below? Like the red lines suggest. I think it would be OK if it wasn't glass, so basically just extend it with the white quarter blocks you're using on the top floor, but it would probably also be possible to create the shape out of glass. Alternatively, can you "attach" it to the S-bend underneath it better, like the slanted yellow line suggests? Perhaps the deco blocks slanted that way could do the trick.
- The area in the orange circle looks a bit messy to me, with the tan and moss-green trim interlocking like that. Maybe it's because of isometric trickery, and it looks less so in another angle, but if not, I'd consider cleaning that up a bit.
- Can you make the balcony heights on the right the same? Either shave one unit off the top one, or extend the two balconies below it with one unit? I'd probably try shaving one unit off the top one first, as it'd be easier and I think the height of the lower two balconies are the right height for this scale.
Don't hate me for this, but I wonder if there's a possibility of using narrower objects for your mullions. You've put in a lot of effort with the curves, and the thicker deco pieces clash with those curves; it's like the contractor went with the absolute cheapest panel system due to insane VEing.
The landscaping and foliage around the river is absolutely phenomenal, however.

I loved that project and my little rocket, wish others would build on it.
This is a nice expansion of what you had in your spot, nice modern condo or something!

Very nice! I love the defiant assymetry!
I'm just going to say this before everybody else piles in to say I'm wrong, but I actually really like those big tree objects and the brick path used.
I think they provide a great balance against the white/blue, and fit the scale well overall.
Kudos

Make it a design. Big ol' arrow looper in the middle of the map, colored bright orange.
Really curvy building. Very nice. Those big fat trees are great.
The shore (riverbank?) comes up really close to the entrance.

cool structure. would be great if it wasn't blicktiled behind so it could be in context

Interesting to see where you'll be taking this
