1982
As promised, we will now announce our future plans. The past year we've been very busy with contactic potential sponsors and contractors, quite succesfully. With only moderate investment, we managed a quite impressive list of expansions for the following years. Below you will find our plans for 1983 up to 1985.
Firstly, preserving the park's identity is of high priority. Therefore the castle, the fountains and most of the gardens surrounding the aforementioned monuments will be free of any large developments. On the map below, this area has been marked red. However large the park may ever be, it will always be green at the core.
Now, where CAN we build? For our 1983 expansion, developments will concentrate in two areas. The first being a now inaccessible patch of forest directly next to the entrance, marked on the map with a 1. A spectacular roller coaster, bought in Germany, will emerge here next year. It should be guaranteed to draw the attention of anyone visiting the town, and possibly the regional media as well.
The second area of development lies on the opposite side of the park, behind the playground and old timer ride. Two small rides will be built here in 1983. Another large ride is scheduled for 1984, but depending on visitor numbers it might be pushed back to 1985. Otherwise, 1985 will see no new rides.
Other parks in the region like Slot Swaffelhoeve are showing a similar desire to develop into a larger theme park, but if our 1983 expansion turns out to be as succesful as we envision, we might gain a significant lead over them. Our timing seems right.
1983 is going to be huge, stay tuned!
Great work liam, love this project! Shame I don't have time nor motivation to start mine up, but I hope to try a timeline park like this sometime in the future..
