^ I realize that you’re right about a lot of things. People should build according to their interests, and realism isn't always unoriginal. To clarify, I do enjoy realism, though I’m in the same line of thought where I prefer a ‘what could be’ rather than a ‘what’s already been done’ approach. And now that I think about it, I see a lot of unique approaches to the game at the site. I’m the biggest fan of ‘fantastical realism’, even ‘magical realism’, and art itself. Though I’m not trying to impose my preferences or opinions on anyone. As I said, enjoy the game your way. It’s just that personally, I appreciate more the few brave people who dare to go against the flow.
Your plans sound good to me Liam. Really like your thought into the big picture, art style and direction, developing your vision, along with considerations of detail and objects. And of course it should be neat seeing ‘what could be’. Looking forward to your further revealing of the project.
