Description
Hey Peeps,
Had no time recently to do rct2 but I'm back to it. Done two little areas to the park tho, inclung this; Treaures and Monsters. Its an indoor/outdoor rowing boat ride with plenty of scenery featuring, You guessed it Treasures and Monsters. More screens to come, soon -

Wow this looks great! Very creative
I love the crab, the skull and the use of bobsledtrack! I don't understand the choice for rowboats though. I think this kind of scenery would fit more with a water-transport type of darkride (like Pirates of the Caribbean or Fata Morgana). The mountains could maybe use some more variation.
Love the vibe, the smaller structure style works great here. That repetitive rock texture needs to go though...
Rare to see such successful trackitecture.
"Rare to see such successful trackitecture"
very good
the rock texture and path make this screen real hard for me to parse.
Yeah, totally love this except for the repetitive texture of the rockwork in the upper portion of the screenshot...
I like it, apart from the texture repeat as mentioned. Very good feel. Reminds me of eyeamthu1 a bit.
Cheers for the feedback, yeah ill definately change the path. I chose to do the repeating mountain bit cause its a cutaway for the indoor bit, so it would be one slope, but it does look a bit weird. To answer Jene I chose rowing boats because the area already has a pirate of the carribean type senic ride. Also rowing boats are a bit different and pirtatey!
Feels very disaster-bench-like, and I mean that in a good way. This is vibrant, unique, and there's a lot going on.
For the pointy rocks, is it possible to cover the tops with a flat roof texture? Or at least can you rotate them and add other features.
Also, love the rowing boat idea.
Fantastic composition and creative ideas, as we're used from you. I just don't like that path texture and hate the rocks. Surely as it's indoor, there must be a better alternative? Perhaps the traditional LOTR rocks combined with 1K ruins?
The octopus is well done, but I agree on the mountains being similar. Maybe a mix of old school landscaping inbetween what you have?
