    Weird dropping is indeed what my first thought was. Try to clean up the path pattern a bit. Maybe skip the diagonal crossed likes alltogether.

    I used to crop like that myself but a bit smaller lol, its a good way to tease a area without giving too much. I think you should add some flowers/and add some dirt/grass terrain around the dense tree/bush areas to make it look less "bare"
