Luketh // First I consider the size of map, and next the volume and portion of main subject (ex : turtle in this map) not to be too big nor to small. Next I adjust landblock or objects not to intervene 4 direction vision and overall composition. What I really think important is unawkwardly harmonizing my landscaping&decorations with empty spaces that players could use as their own park area. I think it's difficult to mix entirely different two sections (pre-decorated vs empty) when making scenario. By the way, during this whole process I refer to real models or pictures what I want to make on google as brainstorming!
Same here, two H2Hs in a row even I believe. We couldn't figure out how to make it work conceptually. A turtle island, okay, but what do you put on the island to make it conceptually more interesting? What makes sense? And how can you do that without taking away from the turtle look? There's a lot of challenge beyond just getting the turtle shape right. We didn't have the right crew available either.

That's similar what I thought after finished turtle shape! I planned to put some details on the turtle back originally, like ancient forest&rocks&temples. But after some trial I thought that details aren't good for turtle shape itself. So I put nothing on it plainly... I agree to you what you were worrying about, considering if there were even dozens of distracting rides on it.
Its concept is to build your own theme park on the Giant Turtle's back. I sometimes dream about 'Big turtle' myth and tried to make it real in RCT. You can download and play it!

Turtles all the way down, man...
I've seen your stuff on RCTgo, your landscaping abilities are impressive.
I'm curious to know what your process is in creating these landscapes?
