Interesting element. Seems like something an older school early century design would have done. Kind of like a whirlpool on a rapids. That drop tower looks like it needs big more clearance all around, but otherwise this is a pretty cool screenshot. Love the solar panels in the corner too.
I dig this a lot. Like CP6 said, the drop tower needs more clearance. I would get rid of the extra supports, since the vortex is supported on the outside of the turn they probably wouldn't be needed anyway!
That's a really interesting element, but I hope that chain lift is just an anti rollback device. I imagine it would be somewhere between relaxing and tedious depending on how slow that chain lift is.
This screenshot is part of a park I recently submitted, and hope y'all will enjoy in its entirety once released. It's not huge, but has two solid coaster designs I think will be appreciated.
Unfortunately, that means the clearance around the drop tower won't be changed, but the game let me put those support structures there with 'zero clearances' off, so blame the game engine for any ensuing peep leg dismemberment -- the management of Screaming Cliffs will not be held responsible.
Gustav, it's just a rollback chain, the ride takes the vortex helixes at a steady pace that enables riders a unique -- and slightly dizzying -- view from the cliff's edge before they are sent through a rattling series of drops, airtime hills and tunnels.
Thank you again everyone else for the comments. ~B-]
My favorite thing here is actually the glass tunnel preceding the vortex. Very simple, and it fits perfectly. The monorail track is used nicely to support that eco-friendly restaurant with a view.

I agree, cool element. Slightly surprised to have never seen something like it in real life!

Really unique. Would love to see the water coaster with the spike on the far right.

Agree with others, very cool element. I think if you added some sort of 'whirlpool' themeing, could make it even cooler.
Beyond just the unique coaster element, I like the overall composition and layout of things.

I agree with FK. It's hard to make cliff environments look good and you pulled it off.

I like how you made a quite wacky scenario like Whispering Cliffs look realistic, very nicely done. That element on the wooden coaster is great!
