Description
The theme was "crime". Not going to add the park to the database since most of the work isn't mine (16 plots) but still wanted to preserve this somehow. Put together mostly as an atmosphere piece, the obvious inspirations here were Tierre Mortica and The Necromancer. I looked at the other interpretations of "crime" on the map and tried to pick something no one was trying. Built in the last ~5 days of the contest.

Interesting?
Need to admit - a lot of work has been done. I would experiment with trees with colors (some autumn ones), I like unconventional support - colonnades.

This is a nice little plot. Reminds me of Arjan somehow

Thank you guys for the comments. I was on a massive time crunch so I knew I couldn't be too ambitious - so the structures ended up being bigger and blockier than I originally envisioned. The spindly architecture of Necromancer is what I had initially envisioned, just on a larger scale. The workbench was also a little strange and lacked a lot of the blocks I was initially planning to use.
@SimFox: The hedge walls were used to layer the foliage in many places actually, they just stand out there because they're on their own. That was one of the first things I built when I started putting scenery in because those walls looked so bland, and those squares had more foliage. I guess I never thought about them again after that, but they do stick out a bit.

I like it. It is similar to an area in my first full sized park, Universal Studios New World. I hope that 5dave has that park because it's almost certainly lost otherwise. Mine had pointy roofs and was less well put together because I'm terrible at composition and it was my first work made in 05/06 before the quality standards went way up. If I had a photo of that part of the park I'd show it but all I have is an incomplete printed screenshot of the park's entrance.
