Say "hey" to Jester, Six Flags New Orleans' own Premier LIM bowl coaster.
Steve: This is the SFNO-themed section of DCA, obvs.
Kumba: There's a regular chain of purple lamps lining the catwalk for the rest of the launch, but this one is the only one not cropped out.
Gijssie: I can't tell the truth and say that your work wasn't inspirational for the feel of this ride/area, and it could be cool to either work with you or at least park-trade for advice.
While I'm thrilled that you're building something - and something amazing at that - are you seriously putting off working on one of the best Disney parks of all time for another Six Flags? Are you mental, Robert? Stop fucking around and get shit done, moron.
Stephen, I'm trying. It does help me that a SF park takes me 10x less effort to work on than DCA, but I was also treating this park as a way to get back into the game after not playing it for 8 months; I don't want to taint DCA with substandard work.
The purple/gold/green are the standard Mardi Gras colors, and are almost the "mascot" colors of New Orleans.
About the screen, it's a transfer track, the start of the launch, and some station; it's not meant to be at all flashy or "beautiful," but y'all know how much I like trying to make purposefully non-beautiful or "generic" realism. This is more me trying to class up a standard Six Flags park and trying to clean up my realism skills a bit more (not counting the intentional messiness that exists in parks).
Faas: The building is pretty much the only main substance in the screen, so at least that turned out okay. I'm pretty proud of the swamp foliage, though, so that's why it takes up a lot of the screen.
Louis: This is in the entrance area of the park, and is deliberately a bit nicer than the standard SF area. That being said, the concrete queue and crappy queue covers should cheapen up the surroundings well, along with the actual coaster itself. This park is meant to be in line more with the SFOG and SFFT caliber of themed SF parks than a SFA or SFMM, though.
Sammy, Posix: Thanks! Sounds like you both got my intentions with this pretty clearly, especially you Posix. I'm really trying to clean up my work these days.
Yeah you're right. The foliage is kinda cool.
I just don't think backstage and technical areas are interesting but that doesn't mean you did well of course.

What happened to not being able to play?
I really like the foliage here, even though some of the trees are a little "off" they look really good here.

Nice building but I think the rest of the screen is pretty uninteresting and boring.

See, it's a great screen. But to me, the architecture screams New Orleans, but it doesn't scream Six Flags.
Only the colours scream Six Flags (which are awesome btw)

I honestly don't care if it resembles something I don't even know.
To me the screen is gorgeous, because it's very classy and much cleaner than what you usually do. Fantastic job.
