Description
Hey Peeps,
So finally decided what the last area will be: Victorian Empire, celebrating all their crazy inventions and explorations. This however, is a little kiddies side area; Carter's Steam Fair. Based on the real fair that tours britian it has vintage rides such as the giant octopus and lightning skid. It aso has side shows and food caravans. -

The colorful banner above the entrance to this zone looks very inviting, the fence is also cool. A cottage with a beige roof looks interesting, a bit too big for a trailer (it would have to be a little narrower and lower). The chain carousel looks unadorned - maybe a mechanic or caretaker with a few cans of paint would help
The roof over the carousel with barrels looks original, massively, cool blue decorations and railings look good. I can lower / flatten this roof a little.
The rest looks cool - colorful, maybe visitors would think:
"... could not a pavement be found here?" : \
I'd suggest a few things to make it look more like a Victorian fair:
- more tenting and colourful patterns. Do a Google Image search for Vintage Fairground and you see what I mean. Old fairground rides were very decorated with many signs and colourful lights. An easy fix would be to replace the steel roof with a stripey canvas one.
- Add some of SpaceK's steam tractors. Those things used to haul the rides from fair to fair and power quite a lot of the rides themselves. Ditch the more modern camper vans.
- Can't have a vintage fair without a spiral slide!
Is the platform thrill ride pictured your attempt to build a classic British Waltzer ride?!?! I do see those Virginia reel tubs used (our currently next-best fit for Waltzer tubs). You could set up some of Fisherman's incandescent blinking bulbs, and build a central hub house inside your Waltzer.
Looking pretty good, perhaps the only thing I don't like is the red metal roof of the spinning ride, perhaps theres a way you can make it look a bit nicer near the top.
Nice work. You've pulled off a fair/carnival feel really well!.....except, you forgot the slide!
