I hate all of them except for the variations on the Magnolia tree and the ones with the white branches. They are very usable and more RCT2-ish. The rest of them aren't at all, they look like trees, sure, but they all have their leaves in the same roundy shape, and the trunks just look awful and weird.
@ Wouter : Well... i'll release the one with the white branches (White Poplar) for you then.
And yes... you can find similarities in the leaves, just imagine how much time it takes to make everything so individual...
@ Chocotopian : They are mainly quite big.
The top left trees are 3 individual pieces (trunk 1x1, mid section 3x3, top section 3x3), some others are 2 pieces (trunk 1x1, top section 3x3) and some are one piece (2x2 tile), or one tile.

They are colorable, except the White Poplar and the Magnolia.

Most of them are really cool!
The white one on the right is horrible though.
Also the screen as a whole reminds me of Flevoland.

Hahahaha lol!!....
Thanks for taking the effort.
But seriously 10 out of 10 for that 'ugly looking' European larch tree?! That's one of those trees i'm having doubts about.
The White Poplar will be burnt...sort of speaking.
The silverbirch you think is awful, is the original one from the game.
I've only made some extra branches in the tree, to make a bit more realistic. And the smaller version is just... ah well... shrunk.
Thanks Liam.

My favorites are the two on the top left, but I could definitely see myself using 13 of those.

I hope you will That Guy.
That would make me feel honored.
Thanks guys!

But liam, we don't want flocked trees...

I think i'd only use about 5 possibly 6 of these. I don't think some of them fit in graphically with the game.

What the flock are you talking about Shotguns?
@ Louis : You would be surprised how well they fit into the game, well that's what i'm thinking of course.
You'll see it in my design.
@ ][ntamin : Thanks, more trees and other stuff is coming!

I like these and can see most (if not all) of them fitting in nicely to various surroundings. Are they a mixture of full and quarter tile objects?

There's only one quarter tile tree in there.
@ Highball : All for you man!
Thanks guys.

I had too, otherwise it didn't fit into object editor.
More trees will be developed, also 2x2 trees that are just one tree.
They are also large scenery items.
Those slots never get full in my case.
Liampie Offline
2x2 trees often fit on a 2x1 surface. That saves two object slots.
Arjan v l Offline
What do you mean?
It's still one object.
Or are you talking about map data space?
I'll give it a shot though, trying to fit a 2x2 tree in a 1x2 space.
This is the result... glitchy business...
So... no can do.
