Thank you so much for the welcome and critique. Yep, a bit messy to look at...lol... I'm not liking that water effect around the supports for the red bridge either, kinda washing the supports out. I will work on cleaning up the square and correct a few issues that I see. Funny how many mistakes I can see just from a screen grab. I get new glasses, soon...
btw, your stuff is amazing! ...like you need me, a nub, to tell you that...
Low on detail, but full of charm and creativity! I'm sure you'll fit right in and you'll learn new things soon.
I agree with G Force, the water effects are a little much. I also think some of the rides are a bit too much squeezed together. Give them some room to breath with some gardens around them, or a bit of foliage. Spreading them a bit further would be better too I believe.
me too, "I agree with G Force, the water effects are a little much. I also think some of the rides are a bit too much squeezed together. Absolutely appreciate the encouragement! I'm definitely going to revamp the entire middle of the square with the suggestions in mind. I think I've severely handicapped myself on use of objects on this map, but I'll try to make the best of it... I only really have two slanted roof types, lol... going to have to use paths and tracks to break it up.
I suppose I'll have to start a project...
Thanks again for the notice of this nub, it really does mean a lot coming from the work I see in the author's artistry above. Amazing, amazing stuff! ...in awe...
If you start a project and worry about the objects, I suggest taking a look at the different benches around on the site. These are empty flat parks with different object selections. If you want highly detailed stuff the Xtreme97, Louis, and Shotour benches are the best. If the big selection of tiny objects seem too daunting and want something easier, I suggest one of the older Pro Tour benches.
Definitely a good start, some nice ideas here though the finish is a little rough around the edges. Considering the level of this first screen though, you'll probably get the hang of this pretty fast!

Ahhhh... I think this is what I needed! I will definitely start my next project with a bench. Thank you for the tip!

Thank you so much for input! I'm so lost in the detail now seeing so many fantastic builds that it is intimidating, formidable... ... but your kind words inspire me to keep at it.
Im laughing at the word nub
Dont be so hard on yourselves, nubs are all welcome here and their opinions are still valid
(trying a better screenshot) - This is the middle of a park I've been working on. I realized after seeing a lot of other screenshots, mines a bit vacant on the detail. I hope to learn from the great work I've seen.

Welcome to NE!
Water effects in the middle are a little extreme lol, that boat ride would be really wet.
Gardens looks pretty atmospheric, nice start.
