This is the easter egg i built in Grand Central. If you use Cutaway View and set the height to 42, you can see the interior of Mr NE's Mansion of Mystery.
One of the ideas i had when i first created the exterior of the ghost ride was building an interior for it. I first started by creating all the flooring using some fulltile floor objects, then i divided everything into seperate rooms. At first, it was not going to be a ride filled with NE memes - instead it was going to be just a normal ghost ride with all sorts of generic scary theming. But after i built the kitchen, bedroom and hallway, i realized that i couldn't really come up with any theming beyond that. And then i also realized that with the stuff i've already made, i could totally turn it into a more elaborate easter egg with all sorts of in-jokes and memes. So the bedroom became representative of the bedroom park incident, and the kitchen became Heaven's Kitchen.
All the memes included in the ride:
- Dirty American realism
- Banana hammer
- Brown is not a theme
- Heaven's Kitchen/Gallery/Atlas
- Steve/Ghoul
- CC9/Boats
- Pink rocks
- Colatruk
- G Force building lots of tarmac
- Bedroom park incident
- Julow (the ride is only really visible from one angle because i had limited time to work on it so it looks terrible from all the other angles)
- djbrcace1234 bush statue in the hallway
The ride was originally going to be called Julow's Mansion but for unknown reasons it was renamed near the park's completion.
I don't understand why this was in Grand Central, with no apparant relation to the park's theme, but I appreciate the nice detailing here. The kitchen is great! You actually made an open drawer!? Nuts. Next to the entertainer it isn't even that out of scale.
edit: Commented at the same time as you. It makes a little more sense now why this was in the park. Also I didn't get all of the details you listed. Nice work dude

Well it's an easter egg after all. It wasn't really supposed to relate to the park, it's just something extra for people to randomly find and think "oh wow, that's cool".
I noticed the pink rocks but didn't realize everything else. Even if its meme related the details are really well done and clean like the truck and flags. Its great that you guys had fun and built what you wanted to see, but with a pretty high level of execution too.

I missed this when looking at the park. I agree with Liam, it is kind of out place, but the execution is fantastic nonetheless. Great details.
