Feels like G Force without the polish that he has. You're certainly making up for that with some interesting design choices. Wonder if it'll still feel this lifeless with peeps. It's too texturally flat as it is right now I think.
I like the zigzag bright paths too, but I also think the amount of tarmac and the way it's been used is sucking some life out of the screen. Generally I really don't mind tarmac at all, it's an artistic choice; however, there's a lot of benefit and merit to considering a lot more about how to use it. Think about peep traffic, areas which would be more worn than others, strategic use of brick or texturally interesting paths to accentuate certain buildings or details, texturally interesting queue lines and things like that. It all helps compensate for the amount of flat, tarmac path you have and something that Russ really developed and addressed during his development as a builder.
Reminds me more of Saxman's work on Knoebels than my own work honestly, but I can see the resemblance. Definitely nice though Otter, probably my favorite solo screen of yours yet. Only thing I'm not sold on is the tan catwalks on the woodie, might just look better as one color honestly. I understand what you're going for there but I don't know if it works 100% here.
Good tips, thanks guys. I was at Cedar Point last weekend and just started throwing ideas down on a map. The top of the screen is a mix of the midway by Gemini and then the car ride I tried replicating the station of the Cadillac Cars at CP. I've definitely not used this much custom path blocks before so thats an area to work on as I progress. Maybe continue the goofy zigzag further? This area of the map is going to be a loop off of the main midway.

lol, 'less refined G Force' is eerily accurate.

The inspiration is very obvious - nothing to add other than keep it up, promising so far!

Needs some peeps, but I like it otherwise. Foliage grouping and blending is done really well imo. Looking forward to more!
For me it's somewhere between G Force's Magnum and his newer stuff, but I can see the comparison to Knoebels as well.

Yeah I like it. The paths are a bit wide (needs peeps indeed) but overall it looks good.
