Always interesting to see past iterations of things like this, really highlights the progression and skill improvement which can happen just over the course of one park.

Glad we saw this completed in the end haha

Agreed with Stoksy, getting glimpses into all the history and idea testing that produces your parks is always a joy.

I know a lot of people consider Jagganath to be one of the best inverts in the game, but these long stretched out sections of track leading into and out of the cobra keep me from agreeing with that. I think it doesn't look good. It's still a pretty scene though, this version and the final version. The mess of supports around the loop also looks badass.

I actually disagree with Liam here, I think the long stretched out sections before and after really give this section it's own identity and space... That cobra roll in front of the path has been done so many times, but it really works here from the back side, because of the empty space and stretched out track I think. It frames the building perfectly.

    Love this park so much.

    I remember this.

    2011.....!

Your attention to detail even at a pre-h2h6 time is so avant garde to what anyone, sans maybe rrp, was doing at that time. It says a lot when something that's 7 years old is something that can be easily visualized in a spotlight release today.

well, I'm new here, I'm learning,  recently registered on this nice site, every printscreen Parks/Houses/Castle Tours, Themes etc., i'm impressed, I am passionate about the details, for example I liked the stones, the riverbank and the supports :)

Rob this is undisputedly fantastic work. The one little thing I don't get is why you chose to just zc some of the supports around the loop area through the track below, as opposed to just finding a way to move things over a quarter tile or some other solution. I mean with all the hours that must've gone into putting all the support work there in the first place it just seems strange to me to leave things like that in, haha.

But I do see it quite often and did it myself in Worlds Fair in the interest of time and because I was up against the map edge, so I get that it's just easier to fudge some of those details.

Really soild park that is a testament to dedication. Glad you pushed to finish this, even while at odds with the object limit. Great work and something you should be proud of.

Here's the first ever bit of architecture I did for BGA right around the release of SFSF in 2011. This idea for a restaurant themed to Rudyard Kipling's old home in India (akin to the Crown Colony Cafe at BGT) was always something I wanted in the park, but the architecture/scale of the building, along with the flow of the area, changed constantly for the first couple of years. There was also plans for something similar to the multi-roofed building that ended up next to the Arrow for this spot as well. Despite the constant changes, Jagganath was the first thing on the map and ended up being the driving factor to me eventually finishing this iteration of the park.
